”We had such a wonderful time staying in this home!!! It is absolutely gorgeous and the view from the balcony is amazing. We were able to see a few manatees swim up the canal from there. Also, there are so many little "extras" in this place! If there was anything that you may have forgotten to pack, i would be willing to bet they have it there already. ”We loved our stay! The house was perfect for the 6 of us! We spent 4 full days just hanging out at the house swimming and kayaking up and down the river. We also loved the screened in patio. We brought an outdoor fan with us and it helped us stay cool in the July heat if we weren’t in the water. Karen was very helpful and quick to respond if we had any questions. We will definitely be back. ”

”The house was everything we thought it would be, and more! We brought our boat, and it was so great to have it right there. And after a day on the water, it was so awesome to jump right into the pool. The house was very clean and had almost everything we needed. ”Went down to Crystal River with a great friend to explore the fishing and scalloping on a last minute fishing trip. This place is perfect for two travelers. We each got our own room and shared the bathroom. There was enough room to park our truck and boat. Good location off of a main strip. Our host had great communication and even left some donuts for us during check in that came in handy when we were out on the water.”

”It was such a beautiful place! Even the patio was great! Awesome spot to watch the waves come in! Little fishing spot right in the back yard! Hot tub under construction as is most of cedar key but it was a slice of paradise for sure! Owner was a breeze to talk to and helpful in every way! We will be back next year! ”

”Poppy’s place was the perfect set up for our family scalloping trip. We go with our extended family and this location had space for all of us. It was nice to have indoor and outdoor space including a charcoal grill, dock, and screened in porch. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean. Highly recommend this property. ”Property accurate listing, area was very quiet, more adult friendly than child friendly, which was awesome for us. Nearby beaches are not white sands and clear waters, drove roughly 55 minutes south of Property to Clearwater beaches north which is less crowded and beautiful beaches. Would recommend this Property for stay in the future. ”

”Definitely a great place to stay, I would say the area has some hidden gems. The river is great, but with a big family we went to Roger’s Park which I highly recommend along with Aripeka Sand hills which was a bonus adventure. Everyone morning we sat out back and watched so many species of fish just pile through the canal. Kids won’t forget this one.”

”this is a very charming “old Florida” hotel that is 160 years old. It has withstood many hurricanes and weather issues over the years but remains a “grand old lady” in the heart of Cedar Key.
