What we found was an amazing 5 star accomodations that began with our check-in, assisted by a young lady named Sam, followed up by dinner, and a personable staff, headed by the Manager Hector, who introduced us to several local drink options, and his staff. Her daily messages with restaurant specials, entertainment, Roatan history, and local happenings were very useful, including specials from other local restaurants. Our room, The Wave, was spacious, with a full kitchen, breakfast bar, dining table, living room, large bedroom, closet, and a bathroom...

”This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed. It is comfortable with great location and staff is very helpful. It is also very private, nice and cozy and offers excellent opportunities for snorkeling at the house reef. Food was absolutely magnificent and the ladies working the kitchen were nice and helpful. Owners are nice people as well.”

”For some reason, we got the feeling that nobody was in charge of the hotel. When we left, I wanted to pay the bill and they didn't now how to charge and after 45 minutes I paid in cash but they didn't have any change.”

”I traveled with my two teenagers and they loved the lodge they liked the feeding the animals too. I appreciated the free breakfast and the quick walk to the beach. Celeste, the owner was amazing and Lorelei at the front office also! Super helpful and helped me with horseback riding for my daughter and charter fishing for my son. Cannot recommend West Bay Lodge enough! We are going back next year too!”
