Long story short I booked almost a week before only to arrive and couldn’t check in until over 4 hrs after check in time because the owner said he didn't receive notice from VRBO. He offered 20% stating it was not his fault. I asked for more due to all of the money we lost on activities we had planned upon check in. He said no that’s all he can offer. When I told him my review would reflect that he said he will put in his review that he had to pay his pool guy more because the pool was “full of gravel”. I told him that’s not true bcuz the kids were NEVER unattended and would have had to go back and forth from the driveway, open the gate and put the rocks in the pool but again they were never left unattended to do so. Then he responds with “well I saw the guy on the camera moving the patio chair did yall put that back?”. I said no bcuz one of the chairs was already over there meaning we were missing one. So we just went and grabbed one. Very unprofessional.Please make sure this owner is aware of your booking before you arrive and have to wait outside. I still wasn’t provided with or able to use the access code until the night before checkout. The 300 he refunded barely covers the 119 insurance that we had to purchase.
