The property was clean and beautiful with a stocked kitchen and amazing outdoor relaxing space. There is only AC in the bedrooms, the main central room only has windows and doors that can be opened for a breeze. It does stay a bit stuffy in the main kitchen/living room area. The bugs weren’t bad while we were there at the end of August, but leaving the windows/doors open for ventilation when it is buggy could be a problem. Trying to cool the whole house with the bedroom AC units would get expensive I imagine as you are charged for power/water used during your stay.We found the fairly central location to be excellent and fairly convenient for shorter trips to both the city and the beaches, some of which are only a 10 minute drive from the house.We also really enjoyed many different birds, lizards, iguanas, and even a hermit crab that came through the yard one evening!The host/owners as well as the property managers Paul & Joost were great with providing information and communicating all along as well as being warm and friendly.
