”Great place!”

”Breakfast was good. My only complaint is not with the hotel but with Expedia. I booked a room with breakfast but did not check the receipt, only to arrive and be told that breakfast was not included. A google check exposed that this is due to a glitch that expedia is aware of.”

”The hotel had opened about a month ago, so it was very new. ”⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at Quinta São José do Barrilário in the Douro Valley! The property is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by vineyards with breathtaking views of the valley. The peaceful atmosphere, lovely accommodations, and stunning scenery made our stay feel truly special. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of Portugal’s wine country. A memorable experience and a place we would love to return to!”

”We had a great stay with our 10 month old daughter. They were very friendly and responsive to our needs. The views from the property are incredibly beautiful”

”Hosts make you feel at home, the room was always clean and safe area to be in. Definitely recommend staying here !”

”Really enjoyed our stay. Follow the directions provided by the property. Google will take you down a sketchy road. Staff was very responsive to all our questions. Views are 10/10”

”Siisti ja miellyttävä hotelli ja henkilökunta”

”Very nice and kind service, very good breakfast. Excellent choice when visiting Douro area.”

”Hebergement difficile a trouver. Stationnement gratuit sur place. Petit dejeuner continental dans une pastelaria a proximité parfait. Accès a jus gratuit. Option d'acheter du vin sur place. Attention: pas d'instructions d'usage pour les équipements: poele au gaz, four, micro ondes avec convection.”

”Lovely room, exactly what we expected but the best part about our stay was how helpful the staff was on several occasions.”

”Very friendly staff. Nice, clean and big room with a huge balcony. Good and fresh breakfast. I really liked our stay here.”

”Spectacular scenery. Our room with balcony was great. We sat there in the evenings with some wine and just enjoyed the landscape. Couple OK restaurants in walking distance and several wine yards close by to visit by car.”
