”This was such a perfect home to have a retreat for our church's Women's Ministry. The outdoor atmosphere is so relaxing and feels secluded without being too far from shops. The home was clean and so welcoming. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms so clean and updated, and the living areas provided a great space to gather for discussion and hang outs. We would love to book and stay again in the future. Absolutely book again for future trips if available. ”

Very clean, very friendly people, and the AC stopped working and the owner and manager had someone come out first thing the next morning (it was late at night when it stopped). ”We loved the historical charm of this lovely old gem! We had plenty of room to spread out with our whole family and the pool table was a hit for all. Shelby was an excellent hostess that was very helpful when I had questions and was quick to respond. ”A great weekend and pet friendly. The cabin is newly refurbished and is very clean, comfortable, and modern, with no musty cabin smell! Great communication with the property owner. We used the bar-b-que and fire pit and made for a nice relaxing evening around the fire. Easy river access for kayaking or fishing.”

”Kathy was very responsive and Brian even came to install a window A/C when the bedroom was getting up to 94 degrees despite the other A/C unit. We had access to the Carnegie Mellon Natural History Museum and the Pittsburgh zoo within 20 minute drives. All wonderful places for our 4yo to visit. Being able to have our dog with us was also wonderful. We would definitely return!”

No highway noise, no loud neighbors, almost too quiet ;) Plenty of off street parking is on site which was a big plus for me. Chris, our host, was terrific: great communication and the property was just as described. We enjoyed quiet walks in the neighborhood and the back deck is perfect for a morning or evening cup of coffee. The bed was comfy and the bath was well appointed. We had a wonderul stay.
