”Friendly village pub with rooms which were converted outbuildings across a small car park. Plenty of outside seating. Good choice of draught beers etc. Menu looked good but we had eaten earlier so didn't visit restaurant area. Staff very friendly & couldn't do more. Sunday eve sun made outside area popular & pub welcomed dogs inside”

”We decided at the last minute to break our journey on a bank-holiday weekend, from West Midlands to the East End of London and booked 'The Old School House Rooms' on chance and we were so pleased that we found them. It would be difficult to find fault with any aspect of the stay particularly for the price. Thoroughly recommend”

”Well kept pub with separate accommodation block. The room was large, comfortable, exceptionally clean and in really good repair. The pub itself is also very pleasant, with a good menu and choice of beer. The whole experience made better by the very friendly, helpful staff. ”

”We had an amazing stay here, upon arrival we noted that there was plenty of available parking spaces and we received a lovely welcome from the staff. Over the weekend, we often enjoyed a few drinks in the pub as well as a lovely dinner there. We were made to feel very comfortable, welcomed and relaxed at all times. The food was very good (especially the freshly cooked breakfast made to order). Many thanks for a perfect stay!”

”The property was tastefully furnished which reflected its historical past. There was a spacious sitting room for use by guests and a kitchen equipped for the heating and simple cooking of meals. The tasty breakfasts were cooked to order with locally sourced ingredients. There was a small but pleasant garden with suitable seating areas. The staff were always welcoming, helpful and friendly. It was an easy 12 minute walk into the cathedral area and town. We had a very comfortable stay although...

”set in beautiful countryside. very quiet, room was very comfortable with a wonderful view, and we had a shared kitchen with another room, with microwave, fridge, in which we put some cold items for the next day. hosts were wonderful, very helpful in recommending somewhere to eat that 1st night, the local pub was lovely and great food. and the breakfast that we had the following morning was exceptional, plenty of safe parking. would highly recommend”
