Cozy Spring Cabin Experience
We had a great stay at this cabin! My husband and I traveled with our 6 month old baby and our friends who have an 18 month old to New York for the total eclipse, and this rental was a great home base for us during the trip. It had a great location and was only a short drive from Old Forge. The wood stove kept the cabin cozy at night and our hosts were so communicative and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place to other travelers looking for a rustic but cozy cabin experience.

Not so peaceful at the Peaceful Pines
The cabin was in a convenient location, had little traffic and was an overall quiet area. However, once we arrived to the cabin and began to unpack we noticed the space did not appear to be cleaned before our arrival. From dirty dishes in the unorganized cabinets to an extremely dirty shower and disgusting grill. On top of the cleanliness of the space, we found multiple mouse droppings in the kitchen, bathroom and living room. The wood stove was nice but hard for us to enjoy as we felt unclean and unrelaxed during our stay at the cabin.

Great Cozy Family Cabin
We loved this cabin! It is well stocked with everything you might need. It has so much to offer for families with children. Bring your slippers as it gets cool on the sub zero temperature days. But, the stove is cozy and the environment is warm. We enjoyed games, good food, lots of laughs, and some skiing in Old Forge. We definitely plan to be back! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful space with us!

Beautiful God time
This is a beautiful cabin and environment to spend some alone time with God. (Which is exactly what I needed.) As I looked around the cabin, it can actually host quite a large gathering. It was clean, stocked with wood and items you need so you don't have to bring your own. When I got there, Andrew and Michelle already had the wood stove lit for me (I previously let them know that I don't have a clue as to that kind of thing. Im a city girl hahaha) You can feel the love and extra mile they put into making sure you enjoy your time at Peaceful Pines! I will be telling my family and friends about it!

This place was amazing! The grounds are so beautiful and the cabin is so peaceful and cozy. The owners are super nice and are available for any questions. It’s close to a lot of hiking trails and is overall a beautiful place. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

Great time
A group of 8 of us (2 families of 4) stayed here so we could enjoy my sons birthday at Enchanted Forest. The kids loved having a seperate area upstairs. We had a bonfire the one night which was great. It was quiet and felt "homey". This place has everything you need and then some. No wifi which was nice to unplug.

Excellent getaway
It was a great place and cabin was clean, the construction makes the outside a little bit unorganized but overall a very nice place. Didn’t realize it was collected water and only a certain supply so I recommend lots of paper plates etc as we used a lot of water doing dishes . Minor things on the downside overall it was a very cozy cabin and our family loved it. Not too far from old forge but peaceful and quiet if you want to stay at the cabin for the day. Supplied with movies and games for rainy days and no wifi for the kids to connect to make for quality family time on those rainy days. 100% would go again.. Michelle was very helpful and sweet, responsive to texts and seemed like a wonderful lady! Great host.

Sweet and sour rental stay
When we arrived the first thing we noticed was the spider webs on the light fixtures, and a faint wet/dank smell on top of a cinnamon scent. I understand it’s quaint and rustic, so my fam understood it wasn’t going to be a 6 star resort. The loft upstairs had bunk beds and such a wet/mildew smell the kids refused to sleep up there,There wasn’t a closet available for clothes, so we used 2 drawers , which had at least 4-6 bugs inside,I just wiped and cleaned . .In the kitchen, ran my hand over the counters and pulled out pots that were visibly dirty w food, and the counters felt gritty like sugar was spilled on them. I just cleaned what I needed. The bathroom was neat, but the one problem was the bathtub that isn’t level and when I stepped in the shower I fell 2 separate times. We arrived there was one box fan and a table fan (temps were 80-90 all weekend).I contacted the owner and the next morning he came to install 2 a/c units. The following day after the AC install, the owner to had to fill up the potable water outside.I didn’t know thatit was for all the water at the cabin. I even gave him the nyc bagels we had.Nonetheless we had a great time and made the best of it. To my dismay, they trying to charge me for “strong smoke odors” in the cabin when no one smoked ANYTHING inside the property WHATSOEVER! I was cleaning this place meticulously so this obvious money grab is a sour note to such a great trip. We will be back but to a different property.

In response to this review: We can assure our guests that we always do everything in our power to make your stays easy, comfortable & homey! As premier hosts for 3 years, we have never received a complaint such as this. In those 3 years, we have also never kept a guests deposit before. However, this particular guest (& friends that were not included in the rental contract) used marijuana on the property, and the smell was still there after they checked out. Due to violating house rules, and all the cleaning required following, we kept the deposit. The guest also mentions water being refilled, this is because they went through 300 gallons in one night, which in 3 years we have also never seen happen. They must have left a faucet running for that amount to be gone in one night. The air conditioners were requested late at night, and delivered the next morning. We assure our guests, we do not normally disturb your stay, this was all because of this particular guest. After the guest checked out, we discovered food in the bunk beds, food left out all over the kitchen table, kitchen counter, and inside the fridge. Clothing, toys, stuffed animals were also left under bunks, and all over the cabin. Candy wrappers, and sparkler trash were also left all over the property. There is no way that this guest cleaned up after herself. We believe this review is in direct retaliation of keeping her security deposit, and in no way reflects our cabin, or us as hosts. This is a family cabin, meant for making family memories, not doing drugs. We are deeply offended that a guest would misuse our property for such behavior, and she will not be allowed to rent from us in the future.

Cozy little cabin
Perfect spot to go for our weekend snowmobiling trip. The layout is done well to utilize the space and the Wood stove is the perfect touch in the middle of the winter to stay cozy after being out in the snow all day. Great hosts, so sweet!

Snow fun at the cabin
We enjoyed staying at the cabin in the woods with all our grandchildren. The loft was great for them, and there was plenty of room for all of us. We especially like the woodstove to give us that cozy feel! Check in and out was very easy, and the hosts were great to communicate with.

A Wonderful, Peaceful Respite
My wife and I wanted to enjoy a rare weekend away, with no schedule to keep and in a quiet, restful place to be alone. Peaceful Pines was a perfect place for us to stay. It was, in itself, our destination - and it fit our purposes perfectly. We enjoyed playing board games at the dining room table and sitting by the comfort of the wood stove. While the cabin can hold eight people, it still felt cozy for just the two of us. We really appreciated how so much was taken care of by the Donnellys - they supplied the sheets, towels, etc., as well as firewood for the stove. They had a fire going in the stove and beautiful lighting turned on for us when we arrived. Very considerate owners, and a great place to unwind and relax!

We loved our stay at Peaceful Pines! Michelle and Andrew gave us the best experience and were amazing! The cabin was so cozy and fitting for our friends reunion. The amount of beds and seating was so accommodating. My boy friend and I loved sitting in front of the wood stove watching movies our second night when it was just the two of us. Overall the stay and cabin exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to return in the future

Comfortable
We rented this property for 5 days, traveling is difficult as my mother is severely handicapped and does not walk well. This has been the best vacation we have had in years, she was so comfortable even after a 4day stay in hospital and 8 hours drive to the cabin. We spen thanksgiving with our family for the first time in 35 years and was all possible because of this place. The only issue we had was handled within and hour of being reported and never effected our comfort. The only thing that would’ve helped anymore would be handicap access in bathroom (maybe a walk in shower and huger toilet with handi rail.) but was not a deterrent to us. We can’t thank these folks enough for helping get my elderly family together for the holiday. We will return more often knowing we can come in comfort Shannon woodford and family

Perfect rustic getaway at preaceful Pines
What a wonderful property. From beginning to end our weekend getaway at Peaceful Pines was just what we needed to unplug and enjoy each other's company. Owners Andrew & Michelle were amazing hosts and the cabin was so nice from the rustic feel to the wood burning stove which made our nights so cozy as we watched movies. The cabin is well stocked with everything you'll need and the master bed downstairs was so comfortable we didn't want to get up. We made the short trip up to Old Forge and visited the general hardware store which is a must due to all the neat merchandise they have to offer. We saw deer walking around the village and many shops were still open. We can't wait to book our next gateway in the near future. A+++ Thank you.

Wonderful girls trip
What a wonderful getaway! The cabin was adorable and homey. We had a seem less check in process and communication was amazing with the property owners who were very friendly and warming. We were about 30 mins from Old Forge where we were able to grab a bite to eat and enjoy the rustic town. The Wigwam was in walking distance and we were able to have a night cap. Our trip was amazing and we had so many laughs! We will definitely be back in the future.

Super Cute Cabin!
Stayed here for a night with a couple of my friends and had a great time. The house is very cozy and well-decorated. The bunk beds and loft and really cute and make you feel like you’re at summer camp. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit as well. Would absolutely recommend!
