William was very enthusiastic in giving us the historical information on the house tour. The complimentary champagne was a bonus. It’s a special place to stay.”

”Check in was easy and straightforward, myself and my partner stayed here for our anniversary in one of the loft rooms with a spa, the room was spacious, had a gas lit fireplace that was easy to light and keep the room warm, or an aircon for cooling, tv had free streaming services which was a great addition, nice inclusions with a kitchenette which has a fridge/freezer, induction stove top, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, pots and pans and utensils in case you wanted to cook in, the beds were...

”This is our second stay at this hotel. Its rooms have been modernised but still show a hint of their earlier days which is a look I like. Great shower and small kitchen area for a morning wake up cuppa. Heaps of restaurants nearby and of course the bars downstairs. Even though the rooms are above the bars it’s not noisy at all. ”
