First the room was recently remodeled, furniture was replaced with what I would refer to as IKEA style furniture. Functional, but nothing special. There was also no clock in the room, or phone, both small things, but something you notice when they are not there.
Now to our real issues, the website listed a pool and hot tub available. However after we checked in we were informed by a staffer the pool was out of commission due to an ongoing issue with the chlorination unit. Another staffer indicated the hot tub had been out of commission for more than three months and a look at the current listing no longer indicates a hot tub, tho it is still visible in the photos and our receipt also list the pool and hot tub as amenities.
Now, I understand equipment goes down, but after a month it is no longer down for repairs, after three month it is intentionally not being repaired. If we had know, we would have book in Ames, IA instead.
