This was a frustrating property to stay in. There is so much potential here. Beautiful views off the front windows and great showers. But then there were so many things that needed attention. No cleaning had been done on the outside so the first impression is one of an unkept property. There were old tea bags in the coffee machine and spiders gathering under a light in the hallway which made me question the interior cleanliness.
Light bulbs were out, there’s a water stain on the ceiling in the front room, exposed wiring and paint chipping, along with poorly caulked windows, all of which really down grade the property.
While there were spaces that looked like they were modernized, there were simple things that this owner could change to make this spot much nicer to stay in; put proper towels in the bathroom, not beach towels, refresh the toilet bowl brush that was rusty, work with the beautiful beach vibe that you have and brighten up the paint, bed linens (cotton bedding, not polyester which is hot to sleep under) and pictures to bring the place together. Get rid of old or worn out interior and exterior items. Attention to small details and a little investment would make this a much nicer place to stay and would probably command a higher price. This is a charming location, with great proximity, we would have enjoyed it so much more if it also felt like a well cared for spot.
