”This was one of best experiences on the way. Nice beautiful place in quiet area with good connections to hike, shop, enjoy winery or what ever you like. And on top, Chris and Sandy know the area to give you top tips. ”

”Decent rooms, the heating system clicking on/off in the night is disturbing though and when on it is on the louder side. Staff were lovely and kind. The attached restaurant is delicious. The pool is heated and the hot tub hot, appreciated those things in addition to the early hours of use. ”

The only drawback was receiving an incoming call from a friend around 8:30 am one morning (even though it was outside of the no-noise period between 1 pm and 8:00 am). I was speaking at a normal volume, but the sound in my room carries too much. The neighbour asked me politely to stop, so I did and I had to walk outside to continue with my phone call. ”Rooms are newly (ish) renovated and they feel modern. They are using bulbs that all flicker in the rooms and the lighting is very cold so it's difficult to feel comfortable. I didn't contact the front desk because it was every light except the bathroom, regardless of bulb type so I didn't think they would have been able to help. Full breakfast in the morning fantastic, was quality and appreciated. Common areas feel tired and often have odours. They didn't track into my room. Overall this...

”Unfortunately we had a TV that didn't work as well as the bathtub plug was detached and wouldn't reconnect to the drain. Pur toliet made a running noise all night, and first thing in the morning I had a silverfish bug run across my foot. Unfortunately, the hotel wouldn't offer any reimbursement because I booked with Expedia. The staff was great, but for the price I was not impressed.”
