”Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, I’m not sure what beds others were sleeping in, but ours was very comfortable. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed somewhere that the coffee machine made iced coffee, it’s my drink of choice, and it was great having it available!”

”What was unique? The rooms surround and open into the indoor pool- including large windows in each room overlooking the pool The pool and hot tub were dirty. The remote and phone didn’t work. The front desk said they would bring a working remote. They did not. Several staff seem to live in the hotel and hung out in the area around the pool. There is no washing machine as advertised. Doors were broken. The back of the building had broken window and an abandoned casino is attached to the hotel....

”After a very rough day, this was a wonderful place to lay your head down for the night. The room was wonderful, recently remodeled and very clean. The beds were firm and really comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was great and all the staff were extremely pleasant. I will definetly stay here again and recommend to family and friends headed through Rapid City”

”The Cedarwood was an excellent choice for our groups ride on the Mickleson Trail - Starla the proprietor was very helpful and gave us great tips on town and the surrounding restaurants. We will stay there again on our next trip.”

”Property was outdated, in disrepair and smelled of dust and mold. The room was missing furniture with no place to sit in the separate living area, with just a refrigerator and a tv. No chair or couch. When I complained, I was told they are “moving furniture around”. The bedroom had a bed and one side table, again no place to sit. While I was out for dinner an office chair was brought in. The lamps were broken and dirty. The bathroom did not have a trash can, had no toilet paper and mold in the...
