Morning sunshine on the balcony created a pleasant outdoor space even on chilly mornings!Everything was as expected from the pre-arrival information we were given. We found the bed and bedding very comfortable.

This was our second time at this same property and we always enjoy our stay! The apartment is great but I do have a few recommendations: fix the light over the stove, change the foam cushions on the couch as they bounce too much, are not comfortable and need to be updated. I had to put bath towels under the front of the cushions so they became more level, otherwise they slanted downward and was not comfortable to sit. Otherwise...great stay!

The condo was beautiful! It was well decorated. The bathroom was huge it had 2 separate entrances and a door specifically for the toilet. The shower was terrific. It is a corner unit with 2 glorious walls of windows that look out onto the water. The building is very quiet, there are doors to the hallway keeping out the sounds of others. The king bed was comfortable. I would stay here again!

Served the purpose for a quick weekend getaway

The condo was nice and clean. I only have a few negative comments. I never received the code for late night entry into the building so one night we came back late, and we were locked out of the building so I had to call for the code. It only took about 5 mins though so it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, the condo was nice and clean, but the couch is really stained. It looks like they’ve tried to clean it, but it still looks pretty dirty. We laid a blanket on it before using it because I wasn’t comfortable hanging out on it or letting my 7 month old granddaughter sit on it. Additionally, leaving the thermostat on 74 was not great. It felt pretty warm in there at times, and for me, for sleeping that’s just too warm. Other than that, things were good. The condo was quiet. The bed was comfortable. The pool was great and having the restaurant on site was very convenient. So I guess I have mixed feelings. Would I stay again? Maybe for a quick stay.

Great location

We loved that this place was not in the middle of the huge crowds at FMB. It was quiet and low-key. The pool area was very nice. You could see the ocean from the pool. Dolphins are active in the late afternoon. Very close to Lover’s Key State Park which was great. Definitely recommend if you’re not looking to be near all the other resorts and crowds. We went the week after typical Spring Break.

The property and facilities were perfect. Obviously the entire Fort Myers area is recovering from Ian but the road/bridge project near the property was an annoyance. It cut off all beach access to Lover's Key and that is why we will not stay there until the project is done

Happy to be back at Lover’s Key Resort!

After a year off of coming back to Lover’s Key in February because of Hurricane Ian, we were grateful to be back, having stayed there for 10 years. This condo building was one of few reopened. The condo was found to be extremely clean, views were incredible. Kitchen area well stocked for our needs. Pool and hot tub all redone. Relax at pool with Estero Bay behind you and watch dolphins and manatees go by. Flipper’s Restaurant attached to pool area, excellent food and they provide drink and food service at the pool. During our stay, there was some ongoing construction in getting building back to where it was. Management quickly responded to our concerns and had a resolution. Hope you enjoy Lover’s Key as much as we do. It’s a gem!

Beautiful location

Property was accurately described, and the location on Lover's Key was a beautiful area, away from areas of congestion. Great beaches are very close to the resort. The room was clean and well supplied. There was still some renovation in progress from the hurricane damage from Ian, but it did not bother us. There is a nice restaurant adjacent to the resort, and many great restaurants are a short drive away. We plan to return for another stay, soon.

Great response time with management!

Very clean. Wonderful view. Had a problem with AC right after check in. It was after hours, management was all over it. Went to dinner with my wife and it was all fixed when we got back. Very impressed!

Beautiful getaway

This is our second year staying at this resort. The peacefulness and beauty of the grounds are spectacular. Flippers restaurant was wonderful. Lovers key state park is amazing. We are already looking forward to returning to Lovers Key next year!

Beautiful view

The pluses - great communication with management company. We had a problem with the toilet which was quickly repaired. Magnificent breathtaking view. Comfortable bed. Nice pool. Short walk or drive to Lovers Key Beach. Flippers restaurant on site is an added bonus. Property however is ready for some TLC. Furniture is becoming dated and worn. Baseboards throughout the unit need painting. While most utensils were available, several glasses were cracked. Had to almost rewash dishes by hand as dishwasher did a poor job and probably needs replacement Beach chairs provided were totally inadequate. We had to buy at our expense new chairs for our two week stay.

Excellent property and stay

We rented an electric lazyboy chair from Rent A Center because my husband has a bad back. That helped make the stay more comfortable and even better (for him). The TRAFFIC both ways out of the hotel was outrageous at times so if you plan to stay during peak season, expect slow going (which is nothing negative regarding this property or owners...just spring break madness!!!!). The people who are owners of other condos are very helpful and friendly. The pool area is usually quite without kids or much music, which we like. Having the Flippers Restaurant with great food and service right next to the pool is a plus. Although the pool area is shady until the afternoon, the owners provide a beach chair and I used it next to the grill area in the mornings to get some sun! We ate "in" to avoid the crowds for several meals and found Publix to be conveniently located. We have stayed at many VRBO's in Florida the past 10 years. This place was wonderful and among the best.

Lovers Key

Incredible view of the bay- sunrises, dolphins, manatee. Clean, comfortable bed and well supplied kitchen. Furniture is a bit dated, stained. Access to the large beach is across a busy road with no cross walk and you have to pay the state park fee of $2 per person to enter. There is a small beach area on the bay with lots of shells, starfish and great view of the bay that we used instead. You can drive to other beaches at Bonita or FMB but the cost to park is 4-5$ per hour but you can swim there. Flippers restaurant was excellent. One beach chair was broken and I did not receive a response by email from the management company about a replacement. All in all a very good location and nice place to enjoy the warmth of southern FL!

Beautiful sunrises!!

We have always stayed on the beach, and thought we’d try something different. This property was great. I can’t believe reading all the reviews before our stay and I don’t remember mention of the sunrise each morning. If you enjoy sunsets, you will love this sunrise at this property. Also, after the sunset in the evenings watching the moon rise was also a beautiful site. The ocean life and birds were great also. And for the beach lovers, right across the road was a beautiful beach and Lovers Key State Park where we enjoyed hiking. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

quaint spot

Checking in was seamless. Good communication prior. Unit was very clean. It is perfect for two people . I think 4 would be difficult. No real storage in unit. Small closet in bedroom and one dresser. No real pace to store suitcases so we didn't really unpack. The blinds in the dining/living room were missing vertical slats and didn't allow for total privacy which I was surprised. Emailed property manger and they had someone come out a few days later he came back with some to replace them and that allowed for privacy. Would have thought that should have been taken care of before we arrived. Kitchen was miss matched and dated ware but able to reheat some take out , make coffee, and use the toaster . Garbage disposal did not work. As far as decor it was adequate . Couch comfortable but could use a cleaning. Flooring was great. Table outside nice. The bed was very comfortable and we were very pleased with the bed. Bathroom was good. Had to adjust the sliding doors on the shower for they were off the tracks. Good water pressure and hot water. The beach chairs provided were pretty flimsy. Lightweight for sure but not very sturdy. They could use and upgrade there. The cooler was great and we used it to bring things to the pool . We were looking forward to the heated outside pool and only one day it was actually warm. Come to find out some of the heaters were not functional and they had issues with heating it. Disappointed. The pool area itself was nice and easy to distance. Being able to walk across the street to the beach was nice. Not crowded. Would have gone there more then once if the chairs were more comfortable. Having Flippers next door a bonus. Food was great . The building a little dated as well. But overall adequate. The views were beautiful of the bay. Can't see sunsets but still picturesque. 9th floor a real plus.
