”Came to Pierre from Yankton SD to celebrate my oldest son's birthday. We were able to cook and have the family together in a very nice setting. Location is great for getting whatever you need while you are there. If you are looking for perfection, it's not for you (it's not a brand new house). But it was great for us, very comfortable and enjoyable. And the host couldn't have been nicer. I suggest calling him if you reserve it, some kind of breakdown between him and the VRBO site.”

”We recently stayed here for the TBF Junior World Finals, and this house could not have been more perfect! It was extremely clean from top to bottom, and we immediately felt comfortable and at home.We cooked a lot during our stay, and the kitchen had everything we needed—all the dishes, utensils, and cookware—plus a grill for easy meals. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, so everyone had space to relax after long days on the water.The location is fantastic—close to town, groceries, and...

”Three day fishing trip during very hot temps. AC worked great and was a very welcome refuge. This place is well stocked with a lot of little extras in the kitchen, bathroom, etc. Driveway accommodates boats and vehicles well. Very simple check-in/check-out process. Will definitely stay here again if it’s available when we need it!”

”Stayed here for a family trip for fishing on Oahe and this location is perfect! Been coming to the area 35yrs. This is a lovely addition that we are looking forward to renting again in the future. Place is as advertised and has all the necessities and some great extras. The one thing we REALLY appreciated, was the use of the garage to store our boat after it was dry and not in use. The area is safe and we could leave it out, but it's that extra peace of mind we got by having it. Thank you!”

”Nice little place with modern appliances, a good shower head, Roku TV, clean, and very well stocked. I arrived on 12/23/23 to a wreath on the door and a lighted and decorated Christmas tree in the living room. We had a blizzard and got snowed in the day after Christmas. Stan, the owner, sent a guy over to shovel out the driveway. He also brought a new shovel to leave at the property which I soon put to use after the snowplows came by and blocked the driveway. Nice place with an even nicer...

”It was a great location if you want to fish on the Missouri River. There was plenty of room for our extended family of 10. We were able to park both of our boats & charge them. The host was nice & accommodating. ”

I would suggest a binder with WIFI info, special things about the home, what to do with the bedding (leave it as is or strip the beds), whether you are to wash your dishes and put away or leave, local attractions, stores, etc. ”
