But believe me when I tell you their walls are paper thin and so we may as well have been in a tent with all the road noise and ability to hear our neighbors. Bring earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones if you hope to get any kind of restful sleep.”

”My family has been staying at this hotel for decades, formerly known as The Crest. We stayed because it was a little hidden gem outside of town and it was cheap. ”I thought I was booking a room at the historic McMenamin's Gearhart Hotel. Our room ended up being in the annex next door. I asked if I clicked to choose the annex accidentally and was told that they randomly book folks into there. I should have called to specify. Oh, I didn't know. Next time.”

”I would have given the hotel a five rating overall since it was clean, comfortable, well maintained, had a good breakfast, great location, and friendly staff but the WiFi was awful. They really need to improve the connectivity. It's one thing for it to be slow but it kept dropping out and made it hard for me to get some work done I needed to finish. If that's not an issue for you, it's not a "fancy" hotel but was a great location for being close to the beach and also not a far drive from Cannon...

”The location is the only good thing about this hotel. The breakfast served is almost inedible- they served cheapest low quality unhealthy food items from grocery store. Packaged boiled eggs, bagels, french toast, yogurt, sugar cereal. Everything was cold. For a $350 room stay, we expected a better standard of food. The room was also okay. Bathroom too tiny. Everything is poorly maintained and old. I would pay $100-150 for this standard of room and service.”
