”Upon arrival there was a couch sitting on the walkway to the front door with a "Free" sign on it. There was no manual explaining: 1) The use of portable heaters or baseboard heaters2) Things to do upon entering or leaving2) Local attractions4) Emergency contact informationDid find a single sheet under the silverware tray in a drawer the next morning. It did contain a few of the above items.Dirty pancake turners, still had dried egg on them. We had to buy several pans and skillets because there...

”Beautiful well maintained mountain cabin. Everything was as described in the add and then some! A gift of local honey, coozies and bottled water labeled Antler Ridge was there when we arrived! The wildlife was incredible, lots of deer, a turkey with babies, raccoon, bullfrogs in pond, birds, fireflies, and a bear wandered by while we were enjoying our morning coffee. We heard coyotes in the distance at night! Property manager Brian was great with communication and quick to respond. Owner...

”We really enjoyed our stay. The townhome was very clean, comfortable, and well prepared for guests. We especially appreciated all the thoughtful essentials and little touches provided for travelers — they made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent, especially for anyone visiting Luray Caverns and exploring the Shenandoah area. It was very convenient and worked perfectly for our visit. Strasburg

”This property truly exceeded our expectations. The grounds are huge and beautiful...you could spend hours just relaxing particularly in the swinging 'egg chairs'! Distance from Front Royal was just perfect at 10 to 15 minutes. The real surprise though was the size of the cottage. With a party of 4, including 2 older teenagers, 2 bedrooms and 1 bath can run a bit small. The common living space...living room and kitchen in particular...are very spacious. While we only had 2 nights this trip, I...

14. Historical home, walkable to many restaurants and shops.

Luray

”Very cute, Loved the porch for morning coffee. Wish there had been a second bathroom upstairs. At my age, it’s at least a couple trips down the stairs at night. Disappointing that there was no cable or whatever and internet was very slow so couldn’t really use the TV. But maybe it was just us. Didn’t really miss it that much. Would definitely stay again. During the remainder of our trip we kept saying how we miss the porch!”

Luray

”Our stay at the tranquil dome was so much better than we could have imagined! First off, the dome is HUGE! For two tall individuals over 6ft, we never felt cramped, in each others way, etc. The kitchen was adorable and provided everything we needed for our two dinners we decided to make at the dome (because the porch and that view from the dome is incredible - so why not spend as much time as possible there)? The bathroom was lovely and again, as a tall individual I can’t even explain how...
