First of all, they could not help this, but the key and credit card technology was down, so we did not even have a room key. When we checked in, we were walked up to our room by a very kind young man who had a master key. We never received a key and so when we Were in our room, we were kind of trapped.
Then when we wanted to call for room service, the phone rang and rang and rang and rang and rang. We had to eventually call the one 800 number on the website which rerouted us to one desk and then those people rerouted us to in room dining and then it took forever just to get two glasses of wine. We were supposed to receive two free drinks but were charged for those.
in addition to that, we wanted to get snacks out of the mini bar, but when we opened it up, one of the containers had already been eaten and was left inside of the mini bar. I don’t know what you think about that, but we were grossed out. I also hope we are not charged for that.
though the lobby and the bar and restaurant are gorgeous, and the room is pretty cool, the whole vibe of the room felt cold and unwelcoming. There was no paper literature to welcome us, and it was like we were thrown to the wolves to just figure out how to get in room dining or learn anything about the hotel.
I would only stay there again if I was comped or got a really m discounted rate. I left feeling very disappointed because I was trying to create an experience for my daughter and I to make memories and everything went sideways.
