”Very nice view over Gallicano. Garden was cozy and well maintained, lots of tables, chairs, sunshades, etc. 3 kitchen and fridgerators, so there was plenty space for food and drinks. Kitchen’s contained everything (equipment) what we needed. There was also 3 barbecues, although we used just one of them. The house owner were kind, but he doesn’t speak any english. Fortunately one of our party speaked little Italy. One thing which bothered us: there was surveillance camera headed to the pool, but...

”Propriété située au calme avec une très belle vue, proche également de Lucca et d’un supermarché. Cependant, la maison comporte très peu d’équipement pour la cuisine …pas de batteur par exemple. Et aucun ingrédient de base : sel, poivre, huile d’olive… les chambres sont de qualité très différentes, le confort de la dernière laissant à désirer, la maison est plus adéquate pour 6 personnes qu’un nombre plus élevé. Très beau jardin fleuri et bien entretenu, et piscine superbe.”

”Hôtes tres agréables, serviables, sympathiques et reactifs. Maison tres bien située au calme mais avec toutes les commodités à proximités. Tout ce dont nous avions besoin était sur place. La vue de la maison est magnifique et la piscine très agréable. La maison est très grande, bien entretenue et très bien équipée. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous remercions nos hôtes pour leur gentillesse et les conseils sur les activités et lieux a visiter. Nous recommandons cette belle location....

Ein problemloser Check-in, ein guter Kontakt zur Gastgeberin, die gute Ausstattung des Hauses und der Garten, der einen schönen Auslauf für unseren Hund bot, haben dazu beigetragen. Strand, kleine Geschäfte und Restaurants sind gut zu Fuß, in etwa 10 Minuten, erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne noch einmal.”

”Maison superbement située sur les hauteur face à Barga L 'acces peux suprendre (route etroite) mais on s'y fait vite... De belles balades au depart de la maison pour les marcheurs qui n'ont pas peur de crapahuter , et aussi jolie visite (Pise, marima de Pise, Lucques...) Equipement pour passer un bon sejour (terrasse, chaise longue..) et se sentir chez soi L hote est attentionné et toujours pres à rendre service”

Spazi ampi anche dentro casa, proprietari super gentili e disponibili.in estate con l'uso della piscina deve essere ancora meglio! ”Set inside a visitor park, at first we were disappointed by the location. It is actually behind private property signs in its own area (better fencing and signage would improve it). It is quiet (especially during the week) and with gorgeous views. The pool is a few strides from the house, rather than attached, but is pleasant and unusual. The owner was very kind and friendly and could not be more helpful - it is very welcoming. We had a fantastic stay, thank you.”

The villa itself is large and spacious and the amenities are ideal - good size bedrooms, ample kitchen / dinning area, basement pool table room (although pool table has seen better days). She arranged for dependable drivers and an outstanding cook and provided advice and recommendations on restaurants, trips, etc. The Host quickly responded to problems and questions personally. ”We loved staying at the villa! We had all we needed, the scenery is breathtaking. The pool was cold but very welcoming when it was a hot day. The garden is perfect. The villa is remote, away from it all. But there are a lot of lovely villages to visit. The road to the house is challenging especially when you travel with a big Mercedes Sprinter, but the longer we stayed the more casual it went. We will have beautiful memories of this holiday. ”The Villa is beautiful and the view looks just like the photos. We filled up all five big rooms but we never felt on top of each other. There is plenty of space! On our first night we had a private chef come and cook for us and it was a perfect evening looking out over the twinkling lights of the villages and cities below. The Villa itself is on top of a mountain and will be no problem getting up to the top if you are a brave driver. Several in our party got cabs from Lucca and Viareggio and...
