Relax and be inspired by the breathtaking 180° Puget Sound View! A beautiful, serene, island retreat that feels worlds away but only a few miles from the quaint town of Gig Harbor. Soak up views of the Olympics and all of Carr Inlet with delightful sunsets, while drinking a glass of wine at the outdoor fire pit, or while soaking in the hot tub watching eagles soar overhead. Decorated with stunning local Northwest images by renowned photographer and owner. This scenic, private, Mother In Law apartment is the lower level of a residential home with a separate entrance and private patio with fire-chat area, outdoor seating, BBQ grill and 4 person hot tub. The unit accommodates 2 people in their own bedroom or 4 total with additional, pull out sofa-bed with Queen tempurpedic mattress. Luxurious linens, a variety of pillows and blankets are all provided. This beautiful, private space with full bath and kitchen are appointed with stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer, kitchenware, dish and laundry soap, coffee and tea, toilet paper and paper towels and all linens.
The unit is the lower level of a home and has a private entrance. Access to the unit is down 8 steps with a railing or walk around down a gentle slope.
No events please; no exceptions.

Amazing views and utter silence at night. After the first night you even forget that there is an entire house above you, we never felt like we're anything but the only two people in the entire world. The ability to take in morning coffee with only the birds keeping you company was the best experience I could have asked for. The hot tub is perfect for the setting and again there was never a feeling of not having a private area to relax in. Clean space and very well provided for if an extended stay is happening. Would recommend it to anyone and will keep it in mind when I need to steal away from the world.

The hose was extremely communicative and personable. She was flexible when I told her about our arrival time being a little bit later the location was incredible, she made it very easy to find, it was well equipped, clean, and organized. Would absolutely stay here again.

Our host was amazing and incredibly sweet. She surprised us with a basket full of snacks, which had never happened to us before and was such a thoughtful touch. On top of that, the place was very clean and absolutely beautiful. The views in the mornings were breathtaking, all the way through sunset and was a great touch for our honeymoon cause my wife loved it so much. This place is truly amazing, and I will definitely be booking it again for my wife and me when I come back from Army basic training.

What an incredible view! Pictures can not do it any justice. The property is meticulously maintained and very private. Everything is clean and nicely organized. The patio was a great place to relax and take in the view. I love to cook and there was everything we needed. There's a 2 burner cooktop, microwave, toaster, grill, kettle, pots, pans, etc. The fridge is big enough for a week or so. We saw plenty of birds at the feeders with the water in the background. It was nice to grab the binoculars and check them out in the morning. We had such a relaxing week and would love to stay the next time we are back to visit from TN.

We had a wonderful stay for our anniversary. Despite the stormy weather we found it so cozy and relaxing. The view was beautiful. Everything was clean and the kitchen stocked with our basic needs. Jennelle was so kind to even purchase a pizza stone for us to use since we brought makings for homemade pizza on the BBQ. She was extremely quick to respond to our messages and friendly. We saw multiple deer and a bald eagle. One of our favorite getaway stays to date!

The views from the outdoor seating area are top notch. Looking out across the sound every night at sunset was the perfect way to end the day. This was the perfect spot for our stay. Birds and deer every morning in the yard and on our way off and on the island as well. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our trip everything was perfect.

Incredible property

Had the chance to stay at this property for two weeks in June, including over the summer solstice. The views do not disappoint and are absolutely breathtaking. We’re talking panoramic views of Puget sounds from on a high Bluff with mountains in the distance as well.The property was clean, had everything I needed, was in a very nice but also quiet location, and Jenelle was an outstanding host and very easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay at this property again and cannot wait until my next trip back!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay. The view is absolutely stunning & the rental had everything you could need. We were fortunate to have amazing weather so the outdoor seating & hot tub got plenty of use. Watching orcas, hummingbirds, deer, & more. The bed was very comfortable & so was the pull out couch. Everything was clean & inviting. We have stayed in many rentals & this is by far the best. Jennelle & Chris are lovely & responsive hosts. Much thanks to James who was staying with them & who was our orca lookout. Truly enjoyed every bit of our stay. Can’t wait to come back!Thanks again for sharing your home with us.

5 Star getaway

Absolutely our best vacation rental property ever and we've been blessed to stay at some good ones. From the beautiful home that is well built, very generously and thoughtfully equipped and decorated, to the outdoor seating, gas fire pit, and hot tub areas. The best part is without a doubt the views....Sunsets, Bald Eagles, Orcas, Dolphins, Deer and an assortment of other pretty birds. This property along with a very pleasant and easy to reach out to, owner make this a 5 star retreat.

PNW Paradise!

We came in town to photograph a wedding and couldn’t believe how incredible this place was! The view from the hot tub of fireworks on 4th of July was beyond amazing. The space is beautifully appointed and the bird watching was a real treat. Did I mention the sunsets?!?! The best in the west!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The quiet, secluded, insanely beautiful view was just what my sister and I were looking for. The hot tub and outdoor seating area with fire pit was perfect in the evenings. The unit is down some fairly steep stairs, so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. We only had one minor issue with the shower, but the host fixed it within the hour while we were out exploring the area. The host does live on the property, so you will hear them walking around upstairs, so if you are seeking a quiet space to work or rest during the daytime, that may be an issue for you. It was not a problem for us, as we were up early, and out most of the day sightseeing. The couch has a pull out bed, which is nice. It was an amazing experience and I will be staying there again if I am in the area. Thank you, Janelle!

A hidden gem with breathtaking views!
