”Siisti ja hyvä huoneisto kauniilla maisemalla.”

”Lovely stay in the Rainforest motel. Andy is a great host who made us feel very welcome. We sadly, were only there for one night, as we were passing through on our way to Queenstown, however if we are lucky enough to return to NZ we would definitely stay here for a few nights. The property is comfortable, clean and the unit we had was updated and had a great new bathroom / wet room. The whole motel complex has such a relaxed feel about it and we have no doubt recommending it as a great place to...

”The room was clean and with good space. Location is good, easy to visit restaurant and coffee shops”

”The accommodation was in a convenient location and it was quite clean. Beds were comfortable. We did have issues with the television and there was no soap provided in our room. The heat lamps and the fans in our bathroom did not work. However the shower pressure and temperature were great!”

”Nice lodge in a great place.”

”Good location with easy access. Road 6 on the west coast is absolutely fantastic and scenery is outstanding if sky is clear. This hotel was clean and fit very very well to our purpose of having a one night stop on our way to north. Fox glacier walkaway was also worth taking.”

”The room was clean but a little bit out of date. Also the backyard sliding door didn't slide that well. The mountain view from the room was spectacular!”

”Very basic bed only arrangement.”

”Quiet, clean and the bed was the best in NZ. Easy parking in front. Staff very friendly.”

”Hotel was really nice. Spacious room, good bathroom. Restaurant (both in the evening and at breakfast) good, great service, good chef. Good continental breakfast (included fruits). Laundry and dryer only 4 $. View to Mt Cook. ”

”Room well presented. The reception offered to take our bags up the stairs to our room which was above and beyond.”

”Room was very clean, on suite bathroom was good, wifi was terrible didn't work from room. Had to walk to reception to get wifi.”

”Smallish, but stylish and clean room, excellent beds. Decent breakfast included in the room price.”

”Pääasiassa autoilijoille suunnattu majoitus (auton saa pysäköityä suoraan oven eteen). Suihkussa lämmintä vettä tuli vaihtelevasti. Suihkutilassa lämpölamppulämmitys. Sisäänkäynti on suuri läpikuultava liukuovi, joka pitää yöksi peittää verholla. Todella ystävälliset paikan pyörittäjät. ”

”Friendly team, good amenities & centre of town. Communal lounge & kitchen is well equipped. All in all a good stay at a good price.”

”For a 340nzd/night hotel, totally unacceptable. While the reception staff was friendly and helpful, the condition of the room preparation and facility was shockingly bad. * No Shampoo in the room * The casing of the air conditioner is open, exposing internal compartments and components. It appears someone might be fixing or cleaning it, but the job is unfinished and it was left open. * The room's air conditioner was incredibly loud and made a constant, rapid ticking noise while running. When I...

”Great forest location, private and clean.”

”Beautiful property Lovely breakfast catered for our vegetarian dietary requirements. Friendly staff and huge room.”

”Great place to stay will come back again.”

”I have visited The Terrace once before and due to this comfy experience then, I decided to book it again on this journey. I can highly recommend The Terrace to all visitors of Franz Josef due to its easy location, pleasant service and especially due to facilities which has been clean, well equipped and highly comfortable!”
