”Our stay at Quinta Da Foz was amazing. Room was very clean. It's a beautiful centuries old traditional family home that really brings you back in time. The tour and attention Francisco provides is awesome. Breakfast is served by his mother at the family table with a lit wood burning fireplace. Loved our stay here.”

”The views are priceless. The accommodation is a bit rustic but very nice. Great restaurants are a 15 minute walk (although the options are quite limited in early February). If you're from Ontario you'll get a kick out of the porcelain tile on the side of the building. Sorry, no spoiler pictures!”

”This hotel is a proper find! A lovely, peaceful oasis, filled with a myriad of beautiful plants and trees.
Everywhere you look are interesting objects and bric a brac, all collected by the owner.
The breakfast was excellent - a good variety of offerings and scrambled eggs on request.
We were made to feel very welcome by the owner, even though we turned up late.
N.B. The only negative - no fault of the hotel - the address given on the Expedia site is wrong! It takes you to a private house about...
