My only disappointment was the bed. My room had two singles pushed together, which is fairly normal in Germany. However these were two narrow wooden beds, with the frames higher than the mattress. Whilst the style was in keeping with the room, the actual sleeping space was limited, and I kept kicking the frame during the night. Mattress was comfortable though.”

”Very nice small family hotel in the center of the historical town. Exceptionally friendly staff. One of the best breakfasts we have ever had in any hotel. Lovely clean room and bathroom. Nice view to the medieval center. The hotel and their separate garage was a little difficult to find with a car as traffic on the narrow alleys was strictly limited, but we got good instructions at the reception. The garage is only about 100 meters from the hotel and reasonably priced. Highly recommended place...
”We simply liked this hotel. It is an old house and the staff are old, not everything is professional, and there are many creaky stairs. Yet, things just felt right. We slept better than in other hotels on this trip, liked the quality of the small breakfast selection, and were able to leave the car at the hotel and walk to the old city. ”
”It was pouring rain when we arrived which was a bit challenging due to some street construction nearby. The staff member offered me an umbrella and even stood in a parking spot right out front for us so I didn't have to!
Staff gave us recommendations for dining which we used and enjoyed an incredible meal in a 9th century building.
The rooms were outstanding, and touches like having artifacts under plexiglass in the floor was unique. All around fabulous stay. ”
”The room was extremely clean and tidy. The hotel is in a very quiet part of the city, very easy to walk around. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and I would say it was typical German food, very nice. I would strongly recommend staying at this hotel. ”
