Just a short drive outside of Franklin lies a cozy three-bedroom cabin, ideal for your upcoming getaway. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a cozy living room, where you can unwind and enjoy the mountain vistas and sunset views! The fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and all the necessary appliances, is the perfect setting for whipping up delicious meals. Gather around the dining table and savor your creations, or step outside and fire up the grill for an al fresco dining experience.

When it's time to relax, retreat to the hot tub and let the bubbles soothe your senses. Stay connected with the free WiFi, or enjoy a movie night on the smart TV. For the adventurous, Lake Glenville, just a 25-minute drive away, offers a wealth of outdoor activities, from swimming and fishing to hiking and exploring. Just past Lake Glenville is the town of Highlands where you can enjoy botouique shopping and meals at some great restaurants!

Back at the cabin, you'll find a washing machine and dryer for your convenience, as well as games and books to keep you entertained. The outdoor area and fire pit provide the perfect setting for family fun and s'mores under the stars. You will also find a ping pong table and darts in the garage! With air conditioning, linens, and basic toiletries provided, you'll have everything you need for a comfortable and carefree stay.

I love to give reviews & I give this cabin 5 stars! First, the positives. Home is isolated & so peaceful. We actually heard the leaves falling! Balm to our over stimulated senses. The fire pit and seating is lovely as was the hot tub. Abundant seating on the decks. The cabin was very clean and the linens soft and comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked and only the second home we have rented with a Kitchen Aid mixer. Thank you:). The beds are comfortable and the bedroom layout is ideal for couples or multigenerational groups. As a rental owner, I understand not permitting indoor fires in the fireplace. But it would be nice to have a gas or electric option for guests until the cabin is used by the owners full time. The negatives are few. Lack of tv on main floor master as well as being unable to get the Jacuzzi jets to work in the main floor master were the only house issues. The only big negative was being expected to carry our trash, by private vehicle, to the dump. In 40 years of renting vacation homes, this is a first. I get that there are bears and the home is too remote for garbage service, But a much better option would be to have the guests bag up the garbage and pay housekeeping to haul it away. As stated earlier, overall it is a lovely cabin and well worth the 5 stars.

Great time at a Great house.

The house was great with amazing views! It had everything that we needed and wanted and more. Me and my wife are from the Atlanta area and we met another couple that we frequently travel with from the Raleigh area. We played darts and ping-pong in the detached garage and played Ms. Pacman and Galaga with the arcade-style video game on the lower level of the house. We also had a few fires at the fire ring and grilled a couple of times on the Green Egg. Everything about our stay was awesome. There was plenty to do in the surrounding area. We played golf at Mill Creek Country Club, made a trip to Harrah's, in Cherokee, and visited several small towns, including Franklin and Sylva. Several waterfalls can be seen from the road or a short walk. Everyone had a great time and would consider returning to the area and renting this house again.

Christmas Getaway

We had a lovely time at the cabin. It is private and peaceful and close to Franklin and Highlands. It takes a bit of time to get down the mountain, so meal planning ahead of time helps with that. There are plenty of places to relax inside and outside of the cabin and the scenery is beautiful. Internet works great if you need to do some work. We hope to get back there next year!!

We absolutely loved this cozy cabin up in the mountains! This was the best and easiest experience I’ve had with vrbo and I would love to stay at this place again. Great host and great communication. The hot tub and fire pit was a huge plus especially with this time of the year we used both every day we stayed!

Mountain Paradise

Simply wonderful. I did have my heart skip a few times on the single-lane dirt road to get to the cabin, but it was worth the wait! Immaculate, the best stocked rental property I've ever seen, and 99.9% of everything worked (that's usually 80-85%). And I'm being picky. We like to change it up and go to different places in the WNC mountains. We will come back here!

Wonderful cabin

Extremely clean and spacious cabin in a lovely setting. It was a great place to gather with family. We loved all the outdoor seating options, the view, the fire pit, and the privacy of the location. Also enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, sharing meals, and playing games. Kitchen had all we needed and we highly recommend this home.

Private and comfy for our fam of 7

The moonstone mountain cabin is cute and comfy for our family of 7. We chose this for the pictures online of a western view and the hot tub. The view and the summertime is a little overgrown by trees in the way. You do have a little sliver of the mountains that you can see . It was nice that it did have spices and kitchen items needed. But bring your own paper towels and maybe some heavy garbage bags bc you have to take your own trash 20-30 min away. We made the drive for the first time in rain and it was a little scary for us and the road does have a large dirt section that will get all over your car FYI. This is also really a two bedroom and two common areas to sleep. It was fine for my five kids, though. They loved the downstairs living area. Very comfy and lots of games. The place is decorated really cute and they had cute welcome items like coozies and a hat with their logo. I thought that was amazing. We enjoyed the hot tub the first two nights which was nice after hiking all day, but on the third night we noticed a very foul smell. We ran the cycle several times, but it never went away. So that was a little disappointing. other than that, it is a great place to stay. I would recommend it!

Great get away

We had a wonderful time in NC. Your cabin was a great home base for our adventures. We were all able to sit down to meals together at the large table. I had everything I needed to prepare our food in your kitchen. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after our hikes. The boys lit a fire in the fire pit almost every night. The sunsets were spectacular, and the view magnificent. We had a wonderful spring break with our children and a couple of their friends. We were able to put the girls in the loft and the boys on the bottom floor. Plenty of space for everyone!

Beautiful cabin

We loved the stay at the Carolina Moon Cabin. The best stocked I have ever stayed! All spices, coffee, etc. just about anything you needed! I have a rental in Louisiana and Steve has me beat on that! The beds were fabulous, very clean, perfect stay!! The only worry we had was the last part of the road up to the cabin. I was scared. We are older 65-78 so we’re not prepared and came in after dark. But still a fabulous stay! And Steve was GREAT! Thank you

Wonderful Cabin in the mountains

We had an awesome time. It is Close to hiking trails and beautiful waterfalls. The cabin was super clean and very comfortable. The hot tub was very nice to relax in as well sitting by the bonfire. The owner is very quick to respond and very nice! There were a lot amenities and even thoughtful surprises! We cannot wait for our next visit!!

Out in the beautiful mountains!

This cabin is awesome. The decorating is beautiful and very detailed. Very clean!!! Hot tub is awesome! The king bed i slept in was very comfortable. Loved the master bathroom. I get motion sickness and i drove to the cabin. And although there were great directions, i made a wrong turn and needless to say I was upset. A lady whose house was behind a gate saw me. And she helped me. What a nice lady. The owner gives direct phone number to message and i got there early and asked if I could wait in driveway. He messaged me back and said i could go in. The cabin is for ten people. There were only two of us. But you would have plenty of room for ten! Description of cabin is spot on! I will be back.

This home is wonderful. It is far enough out that there is complete silence at night while we sat around the fire or in the hot tub, but still close enough to access lots of fun activities and amenities. We fell in love with the area!

Amazing cabin with a great view

We had such an amazing time spent with family at this wonderful cabin. The host made sure to provide all the necessary items as well as the perk of a wonderful spice collection in the kitchen! Everything about the cabin screams beauty and relaxation with amazing scenery, relaxing hot tub, comfortable campfire seating and fire pit, large family room with many games to play and enjoy with the family. Overall a wonderful stay with much fun and many laughs shared.

Our stay was amazing, the cabin was clean and comfortable and stocked with all the special little touches to make sure our stay was comfortable. Owners communicated to make sure we were settled, and we loved the extra tokens of appreciation. Will recommend to friends and family!
