”gorgeous place up in the woods. you wont see a neighbor or traffic. nice little brook out back with an excellent sound. Front porch rockin' chairs were a favorite. Franklin WV is 4 miles away with a few restaurants and groceries if you care. Kitchen was great and had all the necessary things. turn off all the lights and step outside at night and it is pitch black except for the stars. WIFI was very handy and TV had Samsung streaming apps.”

”The accommodations were fantastic. Good directions, clean, very spacious. I made the reservation for me, my daughter, her husband, and their 4 children. The home was perfect. Because of the size of my daughter's family, they always stay at a B&B when traveling. My daughter said, "This is the nicest place we have ever stayed! Dad, I am going to let you make all our future reservations!"”

”The Rusty Lantern is a spacious cabin with all the amenities and a wonderful view of the mountains of West Virginia. Everything is spotless and nothing has been overlooked. The appliances look brand new and the furnishings and decorative touches tell a story as well as being lovely to regard. The hosts are super responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.”
