”We arrived Friday May 24th 2024 at around 6:30ish. Has been awhile since I’ve been in New York State. No cell service and it wasn’t until I signed back into VRBO that I received instructions how to get into the cabin. Cabin is absolutely gorgeous. As others commented about the smell of smoke, well yeah, there is a wood stove. I heat my mountain home with wood, smelled of home. We brought our lovely lady along with us, she is 9 years old, she isn’t a fan of the flooring lucky we brought her bed....

”Plumbing was a challenge because couldn’t wash dishes without boiling water and didn’t want to wash ourselves or brush our teeth with the smelly water. Also, the propane only lasted 2 days; was dead on 3rd day (probably because of boiling water). We enjoyed the solitude, even though the road noise is present. All in all it was a pleasant couple days as we lucked out with beautiful weather.”

”The property was gorgeous! About as luxurious as you can get while also in the middle of the woods. Enjoyed exploring the land and the hidden falls and well-maintained paths. Thanks Dave and Terry!”

”This cabin and pond were perfect for a relaxing and peaceful getaway for our family! The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. We spent so much time on the front porch and fishing around the pond. Couldn’t believe how quiet it was! Loved finding all kinds of wildlife in the area. Good location to go hiking, shopping, or in our case, to Niagara Falls. Made use of the grill almost every day and enjoyed making some delicious meals. We didn’t have any issues, everything...

”Perfect for girls weekend! Hot tub was great, furniture was comfortable, kitchen well supplied. Covered porches were nice for winter. We stayed in March. Fireplace was great. This property is remote, yet minutes from the action in Ellicottville. Clean and comfortable. We will be back! A big thank you to our host Michael!”

”Our April stay in this private location in the woods was beautiful even without leaves on the trees. Enjoyed hearing and watching the birds from the large windows. Wood burning stove was awesome, kitchen very spacious and place was clean. The owner was responsive to a couple of issues.”

Bathrooms are very nice and the beds are comfortable. In being critical, the only critiques would be: The dishwasher isn’t installed properly, still works though! ”We enjoyed a long weekend of cabin life in this cozy place. We found everything clean and welcoming. We appreciated the plentiful towels, coffee pods, and wood for the fire-pit. The cabin is roomy with 2 beds upstairs plus a twin bed downstairs- a great setup for a family. Our dog had a great time too! The pond behind the cabin was a lovely spot to bask in the sunshine. The hot tub was warm and pristine. The cabin is private but still less than 10 minutes away from the charming downtown shops...

”This was our second visit to this beautiful property, during a dance competition weekend with a venue in the area. With the noise and chaos of the event, it was wonderful to return to this cabin and enjoy the front porch and listen to the birds. Communication is excellent, it's always clean, and comfortable.”
