”Absolutely fabulous place and such cordial hosts. And lovely Ninou was so comfortable welcoming strange dogs in his home! Room was warm and comfy and beds and pillows were great. Breakfast was much more than what we’re used to, with home made and local products ”

”Wow, what else can I say. Looked great online but the promo did not do it justice. We gave it a try because it looked comfy and was close to the Gouffre de Padirac, but we would go out of our way to stay there again even without the visiting the Gouffre again (which we would probably do anyway) ! We had not planned on the breakfast but SO GLAD we did, an amazing basket of fresh baked breakfast goods, juice, coffee and artisinal jam.”

”La Biche au Bois est un véritable petit coin de paradis. L’accueil y est chaleureux, la literie d’un grand confort, et un délicat parfum dans la chambre rend l’arrivée particulièrement agréable. David a été aux petits soins pour le petit-déjeuner, ce qui a été très apprécié. La salle de bain est spacieuse, bien aménagée et parfaitement équipée. J’y retournerai avec grand plaisir ! "The hotel has a fantastic location, with a balcony overlooking the main pedestrian street – perfect for enjoying the atmosphere. The restaurant was also very good. The building itself is old, which we didn’t mind at all, but the lobby unfortunately had a very musty smell (thankfully not in the room). Our room was modernly renovated, with a comfortable bed and overall stylish design. The only downside was that the shower was located inside a whirlpool tub, which made it quite slippery, and the showerhead didn’t stay in place very well. The price was on the expensive side, almost €200 per night without breakfast, which felt a bit high for what was offered. Despite these minor issues, we really enjoyed our stay. If we return to Rocamadour, we would definitely consider staying here again. "
