”We absolutely loved our time at this home. It was my 60th birthday and my husband and I invited two couples to join us. My husband surprised me with a chef from DC who cooked us an amazing 5 course meal that we ate on the huge deck under a full blue moon! Between courses we moved over to the gas "fire-pit". The afternoon was spent having Negroni's on the dock at the river. The house is perfect- views are incredible, kitchen was obviously well stocked (the chef had no issues:-)), the master bed...

”The house was very spacious. We cooked and ate dinner as a family of 8 and fit us nicely. The beds were comfy. Views from the dinning room windows were beautiful. Everything was clean. We enjoyed our stay.”

”Only bathroom was on 2nd floor so lots of stair climbing which was not ideal for us. Water pressure in bathroom sink was almost non existent but shower was ok. Bed mattress was very high which made getting in the bed difficult for shorter people. Kitchen did not appear to have any heat in it but based on time of year this was a not a big problem. House did have a gas odor I assume from the fireplace which we never did use”

While I understand the house was 170 years old, it felt like it could fall apart with a false move. The main floor had several chairs, but no couch. The stairs to the top floor were very narrow and you had to be careful going up and down. The 2nd floor was the primary sleeping area with a single bed and futon bed in the landing and a queen bed and bathroom with a sink and toilet. The single...
