This family-friendly getaway is positioned on a quiet corner to give you the privacy you need. It features a warm cottagey feel to help you relax and unwind. You and your group will enjoy the spacious and fully-equipped kitchen for easy meal preparation. And for the perfect dessert, sit out on the patio to watch those beautiful Texas sunsets!

    Be sure to check out downtown Fredericksburg, where you will find excellent restaurants, tasting rooms, antique shops, and historic sites. Sample the renowned local wine at one of the numerous vineyards and tasting rooms in and around town, or join a wine-tasting tour that will transport you safely from vineyard to vineyard. Watch the horses at the Gillespie County Race Track, or sit down for dinner at the Cabernet Grill Texas Wine Country Restaurant.

Great place to stay in Fredericksburg!

This home was perfect for my daughter three friends and myself while we celebrated her birthday . Very comfortable and close to everything. Loved that there was even bags of ice in freezer. Comfortable beds and bonus with all girls , mirrors in every room . Will stay here again .

We loved our time spent in Fredericksburg. The house that we stayed in was good for our little getaway. It was within a few minutes of everything that we did during the weekend.

Cute house and great location

We absolutely enjoyed visiting Fredericksburg and staying in this house. It was a nice distance from Main St. Easily walkable and near HEB for groceries. A really cute house.

Visit to Fredericksburg Texas

Starting on a positive note Vacasa does a great job communicating with their guests via texts. The issues we faced with this property were extreme low water pressure in the shower. It made it very difficult to wash shampoo and conditioner out of your hair. Also the only electrical outlet in the bathroom was against a far wall. You could not use your blow dryer or curling iron because it was too far to reach the sink and mirror. We were also concerned about the cleanliness of the bathtub because there were a pair of false eye lashes left on the side of the tub. I would think if you were cleaning you would have picked those up. Lighting was also poor in every room. The beds however were very comfortable. I have stayed at several VRBO locations and this was the most disappointing. I feel it is an old, lovely home, but needs some major updates. I will continues to use VRBO because I feel they try to provide the best possible experience. This property just needs some attention.

Be Extra Careful Using The Stairs

Let me start off by saying the location of this little house was perfect. The house was adorable, although I wish it had more bedrooms downstairs and a second bathroom, but we knew that prior to booking and decided to book with this one anyways. On our second morning there, I fell down the flight of stairs and ended up in the ER. Please be extra careful when going up and down. The steps are very small and narrow. I ended up with a broken toe and a broken bone on my right foot, a deep hole in my right arm where I tried to brace myself and ended up getting cut by something on the wall. My left foot rolled so hard that I popped multiple blood vessels. I ended up crawling out of the house and into my car so my husband could take me to the ER. The steps are solid black and there’s no light on them to see as your walking up and down. The rail attached to the wall is extremely loose and unsafe. The manager came by and brushed us off and said she didn’t understand how that could cause me to fall. She offered a later checkout of 3 hours, but I don’t underhand how that helps when I am left not able to currently walk. I have two children to take care of. My husband fell twice, but thankfully wasn’t hurt. I was the lucky one and ended our trip short and headed home in a wheelchair. Just wanted to make people aware, I would hate for this to happen to someone else. We will be speaking with our lawyer to see where to go from here. We traveled 4 hours one way to stay here.

Girls weekend getaway

We loved everything about the house. It was cute and quaint. The beds were very comfortable. The only con is the water pressure in the shower but we made do. I recommend this house for a small group.

The house was in a great location, not too much traffic but so close to everything. Quiet at nighttime & peaceful during the day. And the design in the house was fabulous! Definitely loved the old fans in the rooms, they were neat!

this house was decorated sooo cute! was perfect for 5 girls, even with only 1 bathroom. upstairs bedroom with queen bed was a little warm, but other than that, I would absolutely stay here again!

Girl Getaway

Perfect house for our girlfriend getaway this past weekend. The house is in walking distance to Main St and the 290 wine shuttle bus. House was so cute and well maintained. Only downsides were only 1 bathroom and no ice maker in the frig. But everything else was so perfect, these became only minor disadvantages. Will probably stay again next year when we come for our annual Fredricksburg wine trip!

Nice house but was not clean and bathroom very small and musty smelling. There were only two of us and can’t imagine sharing that small bathroom if we had 6 people staying. House has great potential but needs some work

Very cute home in a great location

We stay in Fredericksburg often and the location of this home was perfect. Just far enough away from the commotion but still so close to Main Street and shopping. My only complaint was that it wasn't as clean as I'd expected. There were dead bugs on the floor and just didn't appear to be super clean. I tried messaging Vacasa and never got a response. We also had to re-wash all the towels before using them because they reeked of cigarettes...I know sometimes these homes rely on the vacationers to wash the laundry before the next guest so I'm not sure how that happened. Overall, it was very cute and quiet with a really nice yard.
