- Observe the City of Fredericksburg Quiet Hours (10pm to 7am in residential zones). No music of any kind after 10 pm.
- The City of Fredericksburg is a Dark Sky Community with outdoor lighting restrictions. All outdoor lighting is encouraged to be turned off when no one is present to use the light.
- Observe the designated on-site and off-site parking spaces.
- Place all trash in designated containers.

For two people, the Firefly is an excellent choice. The living room is a good size. The jacuzzi tub is great. The bed was comfortable. The refrigerator is basically a dorm refrigerator, hence bring a cooler of ice. The coffee maker was excellent. My wife and i enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the morning and evening listening to the creek, watching wildlife and fireflys. The Firefly is only two blocks from the main street and four blocks from the Nimitz museum.
Under the hen's tail is one of her poults.

Midweek respite

Stayed at the Firefly for two nights in the middle of the week. It’s walking distance to Main Street (a short two blocks), but the back porch makes you feel like you’re in the country. We saw 8-10 deer trot past us while we enjoyed coffee on the back porch one morning. Great place to stay.

Great getaway location

We stayed here for a short anniversary getaway. It was perfect for 2 people. Clean, comfortable, peaceful. A short walk to Main Street and all the shopping and touristy fun. We loved sitting on the back porch having coffee in the mornings and a drink in the evening watching the creek go by. Would 100% stay here again!

Always love this place. The character and charm this place has is above all others. We did have 3 problems. 1. The coffee cups were dirty. 2. The bathroom sink has never drained adequately on any of our stays. 3. The toilet seat needs to be changed out. It is crooked and scared.

Not what we planned

My daughter is GF/DF so we have to make most of her meals. I filtered KITCHEN when looking for rentals and your property came up. Went to the grocery store before arriving and we were sadly disappointed when we arrived.No dishwasher, no stove or oven and could barely fit our groceries in the mini fridge. Had to return to HEB just to buy a mixing bowl and a container that would fit in the little toaster. When we opened the mini frig, we found a wedding cake and a pizza box in inside that we immediately discarded. The location was loud especially at night and we couldn’t be barefoot as we picked up crumbs off the floor. Sorry but we have had better VRBO’s

The property was beautiful and comfortable. Close to the historic district. Easily acessable to fun places to shop and dine. Loved the wineries and wine tasting near by.
