Luxury treehouse cabin overlooking Salt Creek. Nestled in the heart of Ohio's Amish Country. Enjoy biking, running, or walking on the beautiful Holmes Co. Rails To Trails, just a 1/4 mi. away. You will love the quiet and quaint rural setting, yet you are only a short drive from countless Amish Country attractions, great dining, and unique shopping opportunities. The cabin sits atop a wooded hillside where the front deck perches 30' above the winding and tranquil Salt Creek beneath you.

The cabin is very tastefully decorated and supplied. The setting is beautiful. One of the nicest we have stayed in and we travel frequently. Matt is a great host.I think the AC/heat splitter and the water heater are quite loud and interrupted sleep. Maybe some sort of noise barrier could be used. Overall, unless you are a light sleeper, I would highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin is beautiful and in excellent condition, with a view off the back deck that is stunning. The bed is very comfortable and the Host even provided some extra amenities such as coffee pods, creamer, and popcorn. Would definitely stay here again!

Rustic charm meets modern style. The little touches made it feel homey with a very clean esthetic. The crowning piece is the beautiful setting and privacy. You can sit on the deck and enjoy the sounds of a flowing creek and the clip clops of horses somewhere through all the trees. Great way to start and end the day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cabin 1. The property is beautiful, and the cabin is beautiful, inside and out. The cabin is efficiently designed and tastefully decorated with restraint. There are no knick-knacks in the way that would interfere with the guests' use of the space. The appliances are top notch, and the bathroom is spacious. Of course, the hot tub was great. We enjoyed watching a great blue heron fish in the creek and then zoom up and down it at dusk each evening as we sat on the back porch. If you need snacks or drinks (soda, wine, or beer) the first night, we recommend you stop in Holmesville at the gas station on your way to the cabin. Lem's Pizza in Fredericksburg is delicious. They don't deliver, but it's just a couple of minutes away. And they make the best gluten free pizza I've ever eaten. The crust tasted like it was made with real pizza dough. (If you are celiac like me, you'll understand how rare this is.)If you want to enjoy a peaceful and private stay in Amish Country, we highly recommend this cabin!

This cabin was absolutely beautiful! So well constructed and impeccably decorated. It had everything we needed and listening to the creek on the deck in the morning, drinking our coffee, made for such a serene experience. Seeing the sunset from the hot tub was amazing. Highly recommend!

Excellent!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was exceptionally clean, well-built, and very comfortable—clearly a lot of care has gone into maintaining it. The host was phenomenal: friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly. The only two things to note are that the cabin wasn’t quite as secluded as we had hoped, and the kitchen was missing a few basic items like foil and baggies, which would have been helpful. That said, these were minor inconveniences in an otherwise excellent stay. Highly recommend!

Very relaxing

The accommodations were wonderful. The view from the back deck was a stream, which was very relaxing. The cabin was very nice and very well equipped. Bed very firm but comfortable for us. If the scenery and seclusion is important to you, this cabin would not be good in the winter due to the main road being so close. You would be able to see the main road from the back deck. You could hear the traffic. This cabin is in a good location for surrounding areas. The area around the cabin was very well maintained and the owner’s property is beautiful. If total seclusion is what you want , this is not the place. But overall it was very nice. We had a very nice stay.
