”I agree with many others that this property has the potential to be wonderful, but needs some TLC. Our room had stale odor, likely from smokers. The furnishings inside and outside were dated and dirty. There was a lot of trash and junk scattered around the property. The office building was unkempt, inside and outside. Horrible first impression that left us wondering what we had gotten ourselves into. There was no mattress pad on the bed, which we found very unusual for an overnight...

”My wife and I rented this lovely little cabin for 3 nights and would have loved to stay 3 more. The history is super cool and there are a bunch of items and memorabilia on the walls relating to the cabin making for a really unique experience. Don’t expect it to feel like a modern hotel room. It’s rustic and as original to its 100 year old roots as it can be. If you like the rustic though you’ll love this place. We saw a group of about 12 turkey waddle through the yard, spotted a deer walking...

”The views were amazing, cabin was spacious, clean, comfortable large beds, bathroom supplies, towels were appreciated. Host was responsive when we messaged hadn't received the door code. But it was because maybe we no service. Some minor cons- Oven needed to be cleaned, no aluminium foil or oven proof dish to heat food, no laundry detergent. Overall had a great experience enjoyed the peace and serenity and would have loved to stay longer.”

”The cabin was in a nice location with easy access to Shaver Lake. The wood fireplace warmed the house nicely, be sure to bring your own wood and matches. There are three bedrooms the downstairs queen bed is comfortable, the upstairs queen bed was really hard to sleep on and the room with the bunkbeds was not comfortable for teens so we would recommend only for small children. The house was nice and clean and was a nice place to play in the snow. ”
