”It was basic accommodations for one night. Pros: very clean, quiet, the windows do open to let in fresh air. Close to great walks along the river and restaurants. Cons: no hair dryer in the room, no extra blankets, pillows, etc. The sink is outside the shower/toilet room and a large mirror on the wall reflects everything the person at the sink is doing. The room is definitely not suitable to share with anyone but a partner. Also, the sink is a bar sink with a very large kitchen type spray...

”This is a budget friendly establishment. It appears the facility is making improvements....new door entry locks were being installed. The furnishings are low end and the bed was way too soft for our comfort. The restaurant advertised is not open but they do serve their breakfasts there. Breakfast was pretty decent. Location was easy commute.”

”Hello - the location was great - room was nice. Staff very pleasant. Parking was a little bit tough for us because one of us has mobility issue and there is only 1 designated parking space for the hotel.”

”The cottage is cute with a great view of the lake. Quiet and peaceful yet convenient to town. Plenty to see and do in the area. We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend staying here!”

”The Glen Cove Inn was a lucky discovery on our journey down US 1. The rooms are spread out along the hill in several buildings giving the feel of New England houses. Parking is arranged so that there is only a few steps between car and room. The rooms were attractively decorated with coastal themes. On a clear day there is a glimpse of Penobscott Bay from the parking lot. The grounds are decorated with flower gardens. All the rooms had outdoor seating. Our room had a deck with table and chairs....

”Great location (close to restaurants and downtown) the hotel was great. Room and view was fantastic, could not do better in the area. Very clean and well maintained. Would stay again without question.”

”This was my second stay at hotel. Some areas have undergone renovations so it has a newer vibe to it. My king room was very confortable for my husband and I. The bathroom was spacious eough for the two of us to get ready for a party. Room has all the usual amenities such as refigerator, iron and enough space for suitcases and spreading out. I highly recommend this property.”

”Breakfast was amazing, the view from our room was great. When we got there a staff member walked in on us within ten minutes of being in the room which made us a little uncomfortable. As we were leaving the next day a different staff member asked us if we checked out the minute we left out someone went into our room at 9:30am. It felt a bit rushed. The area itself was beautiful and certain staff were wonderful as well.”

”The view was the best view of our trip. The most friendly staff who love their jobs. Rockland was extremely enjoyable.”

”Close to Camden and Rockland which were awesome towns to check out. Plenty of dining options near by especially if you like seafood. Rooms were very nice. Great affordable place to stay when visiting the coast!”

”The location was great to get between Camden and Rockland. The front desk staff were so nice and there was actually good coffee in the lobby! This is an older hotel, which I don't mind as long as they're clean. This one we could tell they'd cleaned the bed, but the rest of the room was lacking. There was candy on the floor and hair in the shower drain. For the price, I think it's worth one night. We didn't have any issues otherwise.”

”The location in town is ideal for dining/shopping, but parking is off-site. The room assignment was totally unsatisfactory. It was featured as a suite, but contained two small, dark rooms, neither of which was comfortable. Furnishings are old and in need of updating. We did get a much better room the second night.”
