”Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Facilities good, food options good with the services next door as well as the hotel restaurant/breakfast. Parking convenient and cheap. Rooms very basic but clean. Overall perfectly comfortable! Would recommend.”

”From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and friendly, after a 3 and half hour journey we had a lovely roast dinner and a beer which went down very well. We were then shown our room which was perfect, and matched the quaint pub, the bed was comfortable. tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, & water readily available, en-suite with shower and t.v. Breakfast was lovely all fresh and local produce. Final evening we had a lovely meal which coincided with my husbands birthday, the dessert came out...

”In a lovely historic building set within pleasant grounds, especially as the wisteria was in flower. Very helpful staff, lovely room and comfortable bed. The breakfast was perhaps a little disappointing- dry basic with little choice of healthy cereal or cooked food if you are vegetarian. Overall very good though.”

”A small pub and hotel with very nice ambience and rooms. Friendly staff, nice breakfast and a cozy lounge. Single paned windows let in some road noise and chill.”
