A few kilometers away is the Smeatorpet outdoor recreation area with various trails for hiking and biking. The nearest swimming spot is at Lake Furusjön. Borås, with its zoo, high ropes course, swimming pool, and restaurants, is a twenty-minute drive away. Gothenburg, home to Liseberg and Universeum, is fifty minutes away.
