The Space:

Living Areas

The main living space is bright and comfortable with a wall of windows, a smart TV, and a cozy wood burning fireplace for chilly nights. The open floor plan keeps everyone connected while still offering plenty of room to spread out, relax, and enjoy the scenery.



Kitchen and Dining

The kitchen is modern, spacious, and set up for real cooking. You’ll find stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and the essentials you need for meals at home. The kitchen flows directly into the dining and living areas, making it easy to cook, serve, and gather without feeling separated from the group.



Bedrooms

The home includes four thoughtfully designed bedrooms, each set up for a great night’s sleep with high quality mattresses, soft linens, and practical touches like nightstands, outlets, and ample storage. Two bedrooms feature king beds and spa style bath access, and two bedrooms include queen beds, creating a comfortable setup for couples, families, and groups.



Bathrooms

Guest Access:

GETTING IN



The front door has a Schlage smart-lock keypad — no key needed. Your 4-digit access code arrives by message before your check-in date:

- It activates at your scheduled check-in time and works through check-out.

- A 4-digit backup code is included in case the primary doesn't work.

- If neither code works, message us through your booking platform and we'll respond as quickly as possible.



PARKING



Free parking for up to 4 cars in the driveway. Street parking is not allowed and may result in ticketing or towing.



GETTING HERE



The home sits along a wooded mountain ridge. Front-wheel drive is sufficient most of the year. AWD or 4WD is required November through April due to gravel access roads and winter conditions. The access road has steep sections.



INSIDE



You have access to the entire house. Two areas are locked and reserved for the owner: a closet downstairs in the family room, and a storage container in the laundry room. Please don't try to access them during your stay.



HOT TUB



The hot tub is included in your stay, but does require a signed waiver before first use. The waiver link is sent in your guest message after booking — sign it on your phone, no printer needed. If you have any trouble with the waiver or activation portal, message us directly through your booking platform and we'll get it sorted same-day.



CHECK-OUT & CLEANING



Standard check-out is by your scheduled departure time. Our cleaning team typically arrives shortly after — they may park at the top of the road or out of immediate view, so please don't feel rushed if you don't spot them right at checkout. If you'd like a late checkout, we may be able to offer one for $50 (subject to next-day reservation timing).



The Neighborhood:

Quiet, semi-rural residential area on the outskirts of Front Royal with woods, mountain and valley views. Close to Shenandoah National Park North (Front Royal entrance), Skyline Drive, and the Shenandoah River — popular for hiking, scenic drives, canoeing/kayaking and wineries. Downtown Front Royal (shops, restaurants, groceries, courthouse) is a short drive; local attractions include Skyline Caverns and small regional wineries.



Getting Around:

Driving is the most practical option; the property has easy access to I-66, US-340 and Route 50 for regional travel. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) and local taxi services operate in Front Royal for short trips or airport transfers. There is limited local public transit; expect to drive for groceries, dining and park access. Car rentals recommended for most visitors. Nearest small commercial airport: Shenandoah Valley Regional (SHD) ~25–35 miles. Major airports (Dulles IAD, Reagan DCA) are about 55–75 miles. Nearest Amtrak/major passenger rail stops are roughly 30–60 miles away (Culpeper, Manassas, Harpers Ferry/Martinsburg depending on route).

AWD / 4x4 is recommended.



This stay requires a $300 security hold via debit/credit card via guest portal due before check-in.



For security purposes, an exterior camera is installed at the front of the home with a view of the driveway. There are no cameras inside the home.
