”Beautiful house and property. The hosts were so kind and gracious and made a delicious breakfast each morning. We would love to return one day and spend more time at the property relaxing instead of exploring the surrounding area.”

”We stayed at La Bastide Gourmande with my family for 4 nights. The new owners Antoine and Ilham have some an amazing job renovating and upgrading the hotel. They were super helpful and friendly. We will for sure return here with the family, and hopefully sometimes also only the adults, as the hotel is also a nice romantic little hideout. ”

”Rien a dire, petit hôtel sympathique”

”Rauhallinen hotelli erinomaisella palvelulla.

”Staff were friendly and spoke decent -good English. Let me leave my bags behind the desk as I got there early. Room was clean, bed and pillows were reasonably comfortable, but basic. Not much room around the bed, and no room to leave your suitcase open without blocking your access round the bed. Curtain was strangely far away from the window, meaning if you came out of the bathroom in a state of undress, you were visible to outside. Breakfast was decent, but fairly limited. Hot options were...

”A very warm welcome from the great and super-friendly staff started things off well. My room was very pleasant with a nice little patio. Breakfast poolside was nice. Wish I’d stayed longer to try the apparently excellent Italian restaurant that’s attached! Overall, definitely recommended.”

”Kiva ja rauhallinen hotelli. Erittäin ihana henkilökunta! Hyvä aamupala. Syrjässä melusta. Autolla kuitenkin pieni matka Cannesiin, Nizzaan, Monacoon. Itse piti viedä roskat ja pyytää uudet roskapussit, pyytää wc-paperia jne. Ehkä näihin voisi tulla parannusta! Ja uima-allas suljettu:( vaikka oli erittäin lämmin. Viihdyimme kuitenkin erinomaisesti! Kiitos:)”

”Good, quiet location, spacious rooms, nice kitchenette, helpful staff in the office. On arrival no hand wash or shampoo or tissues. Bought them self from local Carrefour. House keeping and clean towels only once in six days.”

”Very nice atmosphere, kind staff and wonderful breakfast”

”Our room was close to hotel's laundry room and the washed laundry all night, woke several times because of noise of washing machine.”

”We stayed for a week and found the room comfortable, spacious and clean (suite and terrace). The staff in the hotel and restaurant is polite, friendly and helpful. The reception managed to get us tee times in the desired time of the day every day we played. The menu in the restaurant had only three entrees, three main courses and three desserts, but they were willing to make something we would wish. And Valbonne and its restaurants are just 5 minutes away. ”

”Zeer gastvrij, veel aandacht van de Gastvrouw en een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt.”

”We had a lovely stay here with Laura and Terry and Kelly appreciated their local expertise when it came to recommending walking routes and restaurants. Beautiful spot and lovely people. Thank you!”

”Strange staff. They were not interested in helping guests with anything. Always stayed at the Bastide on same property but decided to try something new. Disappointed with everything. The older lady at front desk of Bastide actually chastised us for going there to check in when the web site mentioned that the 2 places shared pretty much everything. She must have fussed at us about it on 3,or more occasions. The ladies that used to run the front desk were treasures. So sad that we had to endure...
