”Nice clean hotel. Our room didn’t have a balcony that we thought we were going to have (which is ok) but we didn’t even have a window, except a skylight. Felt a bit claustrophobic. Room is small so if you need lots of room, keep that in mind. ”

”The host, Guiseppe was very accommodating. The ferries were not running to the Aeolian islands due to weather conditions, and this place was available. We were fortunate that we stayed here on such short notice and with quick entry to property. Very close to ferry, cafes, and shops. Parking is a little hectic, but we found spots close to apartment. Thx again Guiseppe!”

”We loved staying at La Malandrina. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, included an upgraded kitchenette with modern appliances. And best of all was the spacious patio with a gorgeous, sweeping view of the ocean, Mt Etna, and the town of Giardini Naxos. La Malandrina was in a convenient location and in walking distance to shops, restaurants, grocery store and the Teatro. The staff was attentive and helpful. Staying here was one of our highlights of our trip to Sicily.”

”The best location, right off Corso Umberto (30 sec walk) but away from crowds. Staff were very helpful and nice, checkin and checkout was smooth and effortless. A/c in rooms. Bathroom was large and clean. Housekeeping every morning with fresh new towels, bathroom supplies, espresso pods for the Nespresso machine.”

”The staff was great, the hotel is nice. They have updated the place nicely. The issue is that the building causes the rooms to be small, and the bathroom is very small. Calling the place a "suite" creates false expectations. The only issue they could address is giving more privacy on the patio/deck. Currently, the only thing separating the patio/deck from the neighbors is a very small/short potted plant.”
