”We just got back from our stay in Ray Brook and really loved the cabin. The furnishings were very nice, and the bed was super comfortable. The location is convenient to both Lake Saranac and Lake Placid, with lots of hiking trails nearby. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of space to eat and play board games on the island. Our dog loved the windows and screened in porch. Highly recommend!”

”We had a lovely 3-day stay. The cabin is beautiful and the pictures represent it well. The picture window overlooking the lake is a glorious way to start a morning, and the deck and fire pit are wonderful ways to take in the lake in a quiet setting. We also enjoyed the beach a short walk away. The location is great- a mile or so outside of town and close to hiking trails. The kitchen was clean and fully outfitted to cook, and we took advantage of that a lot. We’d happily stay again.”

”My family and I were looking for a cozy winter getaway to relax and enjoy time together. This hit the mark! I will say if you have mobility issues, this is a bit tricky to reach the door in the snow. My mother-in-law needed lots of help. It was slick and the path to the front door was loose rocks. It snowed overnight and was hard to find the path to shovel in the morning. Aside of this, it was a perfect stay. The home was clean and the layout was perfect. We loved having a fireplace to warm up...

”We were in town for a hockey tournament and it was a perfect place to stay so we didn't have to eat every meal out. We were in and out for games and didn't have any issues. The host let us check in an hour early so we could unpack before our first game. Overall great experience--would stay here again next year.”

”My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was how the bathroom was laid out. You have to get into the shower to turn it on, and outside of the shower the towel bar is placed higher than most I have encountered. Also I am not a fan of bowl sinks. However - the rest of the room was very nicely planned , and very clean. I had not been in years, and it was nice to see the property restored so well. I would definitely come back. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. ”
