Nicely renovated house in the heart of the Galena Territory. This home offers 2 Bedrooms and 1.5 baths plus Air Hockey and a Hot Tub. This home is located only 3 minutes from the Owners' Club in the heart of The Galena Territory and comes with four amenity passes allowing you access to the Owners' Club where you will enjoy indoor, outdoor, and kiddie pools, a state of the art fitness center, indoor/outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, Game Room, free WIFI, etc. The Galena Territory offers many activities to choose from, including horseback riding, hiking, and fishing and more.

This home is perfect for a small family, two couples, or a romantic getaway. It sleeps 4 people comfortably. Both bedrooms offer a King bed and Smart Tv. Bright and spacious first floor family room with Smart Tv, gas fireplace, and dining area that seats 4 people. Large windows with a private view! Sliding door out from dining area to a deck with table seating and a gas grill. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils and cookware you need for your stay. Full fridge, electric stove/cooktop, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, and toaster.

Lake Galena is less than 5 minutes from this home and offers bait shop and boat rentals.

Downtown Galena is a short drive and is consistently ranked a top tourist town in the US! Enjoy history, shops, delicious restaurants, Grant Park and Grant's Home, the Galena River, and many other attractions! Chestnut Mountain is also a short drive and has downhill skiing in the winter and their famous alpine slide, new zip line and Segway tours in the spring, summer, and fall.

If you are looking for a quiet comfortable retreat but with all the amenities of the Galena Territory this nicely updated home could be your perfect getaway.

The cabin was as expected! It was clean, great location not far from downtown Galena, in a nice neighborhood but still private. The bed was comfortable, liked the large bathroom, hot tub was great! The only improvements I would suggest is to fix the broken blinds, the water pressure was just okay and the keurig wasn’t working but other than that we greatly enjoyed our stay and would stay again!!!

Our recent stay at this property was unfortunately very disappointing due to significant cleanliness, maintenance, and potential health concerns.Upon arrival, the home was not properly cleaned. The floors had not been adequately swept or mopped, the baseboards were visibly dirty, and there was a noticeable amount of hair in both the bathtub and shower. Additionally, the kitchen and bathroom drawers and cabinets contained crumbs and debris and had clearly not been wiped out. The overall condition did not meet basic cleanliness expectations.We also experienced several maintenance issues during our stay. The bathtub drain plug was broken, making it unusable. The shower had extremely low water pressure, and the shower head was mounted unusually low, making it uncomfortable to use. The sliding door locks were very difficult to secure and appeared partially broken, which raised security concerns. Many of the blinds throughout the property were also broken or missing slats.Most concerning, after returning home, all three members of our family developed multiple painful, swollen bites consistent with flea or bed bug exposure. Our dogs are treated year-round for fleas and ticks, and we found no evidence of infestation on them. This was especially troubling and caused significant discomfort and concern for our family.We contacted the host regarding these issues but have received no response.We hope these concerns are addressed so future guests do not have a similar experience.

The place was very nice and we enjoyed the hot tub. Upon arriving at the cabin, we discovered a mouse in a sticky trap, which is the reason for our lower rating.

Very well kept, comfortable atmosphere and easy to find- set back but not too far from town. Was well stocked with everything we needed for the kitchen and the beds were very comfortable. The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars was that the downstairs was absolutely freezing and would not warm up (probably nice in the summer but not awesome in the winter) and the shower is a very small corner like shower that is not relaxing or easy to shower in. We would totally visit again though!

Being able to walk out my bedroom and climb in a hot tub was fantastic. Plus the view was superb. Plenty of TVs for background noise/music. My wife and I enjoyed the game room, the air hockey table wasn't very good, but many aren't. I did get an opportunity to start teaching her chess and loved the Pac-Man game. The kitchen was set up nicely and had most needed utensils for food prep, but a whisk would have been nice. We took our 2 German Shepherd Dogs and the loved being able to sit out on the deck with us after a long day in Galena. Now for the dreaded shower. Serious lack of pressure. I felt like it was barely adequate to rinse off my body wash. Luckily I showered first and my wife, who has long hair, was glad she brought her dry shampoo. Plus it was very tiny shower, probably 32x32" and the shower head only hit my chest. For a large man like myself it makes it hard to maneuver. They make many great low pressure shower heads, trust me we have one in our house. Is this enough to knock a star off, definitely No. I have been to enough VRBOs to know dont expect a great shower experience. The only other downfall to this rental is my wife is asking when do we get to go back.

We heard a low beeping sound when we first checked in and they responded immediately and had someone over to shut it off right away. The property was wonderful and we will definitely do another girls trip there. My boys would love it too with the game room. Excellent experience!

Quiet Retreat with great amenities

The property had everything we needed for our stay. The grounds were quiet and beautiful. The seven year old learned how to play air hockey. Really enjoyed the outside deck for reading and eating.We saw rabbits and wild turkey. We loved using the pool at the Owner’s Club.

The house was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. We were so happy to be able to bring our dog with us for the weekend. She enjoyed playing in the yard and even saw a couple deer and wild turkeys. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals and the beds are very comfortable! We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening overlooking the quiet woods.
