Private 3BR/2BA Territory Home Nestled in the Trees

Enjoy wooded views from all windows and the privacy needed for a great vacation. Our home features vaulted ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, screened in three-season room, as well as a deck. The main floor includes a master bedroom with full bath, kitchen and dining areas, and our comfortable living room. Upstairs are 2 more bedrooms and another full bath. Perfect for a quick getaway, a weekend of golf, or longer vacation to visit the beautiful Galena Territory

Furnished with everything you may need to dine in or out and with room to stretch. The property is on just over an acre with trees in every direction and right next to one of the many walking trails that go throughout the territory.

Home includes:
- 2 bedrooms with queen beds with fresh white linens and comfortable pillows
- 1 bedroom with 2 twins with fresh white linens and comfortable pillows
- 2 full bathrooms
- Kitchen is stocked with all the dishes, pots/pans, and silverware you need if you want to cook in
- 65 inch Roku TV in the main living room plus a 43 inch Roku TV in each separate bedroom
- Gas grill available on deck
- Screened in porch to enjoy the outdoors even if it’s raining
- Keurig with pods included
- Board games to enjoy with your group
- If there are young children in your group, 2 Pack & Plays and high chairs are available as well as a small selection of kids eating utensils to make packing a breeze

There will be six Owner's Club Key cards hanging in the kitchen. With this card you will have access to the pools, fitness center, as well as the game room at the Galena Territory Owner's Club located at 2000 Territory Dr. Galena, IL.

Or enjoy downtown Galena for the day with great restaurants and shopping only 7 miles away! For winter fun and skiing there is also Chestnut Mountain Resort a short 13 mile drive from the home.

My friends and I were very happy with our stay. It is such a beautiful and peaceful area. The house was wonderful and had everything we needed. Everything was very clean. Wish we would have stayed longer. We would definetly stay here again and highly recommend it!

Girls Family Getaway

My adult daughters and I plan a three day getaway each spring. We found Howard and Carly’s home to be perfect for us. We enjoyed the birds in the morning while relaxing with coffee. We enjoyed exploring the area and watching movies in the evenings. The only negative was that it was too short a time together.The home had comfortable beds and everything needed for cooking away from home. Host Howard communicated quickly and helpfully.We recommend!

Lovely, peaceful place

We spent Easter weekend here and really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location. Lovely views in every direction. The house was very comfortable, spotless and filled with extra touches that made our lives easier (we especially appreciated the brand-new kitchen sponge!). We checked out the Owners' Club to play some ping-pong, pool and foosball. Thanks for sharing your home!

Your home is lovely and you were a great host. Thank you for sharing and so quickly responding to our plumbing needs. My only suggestion is to instal grab bars in the shower. It was difficult to get into the shower on the first floor master.

Beautiful home in the Galena Territory

This was our first time to The Galena Territory. Our trip was very successful in no small part due to the owner’s beautiful home, the clean conditions and easy communication. I was not expecting the resort feel to the area and the quick commute to downtown Galena. Big bonus. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect Home Between Downtown and Skiing

My family of 5 spent one night at this home the evening before skiing at Chestnut Mountain. We ate dinner in downtown Galena as well. The home was perfectly located between Chestnut and downtown. The home was clean, comfortable, and nestled in the woods. Highly recommend this home. We would have liked to use the screened in porch, but it was too cold to use the screened in porch. The kitchen had everything needed. The beds were comfortable. We will stay again.

house needs to have some professional rodent removal. we could hear mice running in the ceiling at night. the amount of vegetation that has grown right up to the house probably doesn't help with that problem.

Felt like home

We made a last minute decision to spend Christmas in the Galena area as our son lives in Dubuque for school. We chose the perfect house to rent. Aside from being close to Dubuque and the downtown Galena shops, the house felt like home which was important at Christmas. The house was clean and spacious and had everything we needed including fluffy towels, lots of cooking supplies and spices, easy to use televisions. The outdoor scenery is breathtaking. The host was quick to reply to questions. I would recommend a stay at this perfect home in a great location to anyone visiting the Galena area..The which was perfect on Christmas.

Cozy Cute and Comfortable

Our family enjoyed relaxing in this cozy house with all the amenities close to all attractions. It was nice waking up to the driveway completely snowplowed. Would suggest leaving bag of salt on porch incase of ice on walkway. The house is conveniently located for easy access to main road but yet secluded for privacy. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in this home. It was very comfortable and mostly very clean. There were stains on the couch and what looked like dirty rivulets of water dried on the bathroom and kitchen walls, otherwise everywhere else was very clean. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook.

Comfortable stay in the trees

We were 2 couples and the house is ideally set up for privacy, with a queen bedroom on each floor. Kitchen is well stocked. House is built into a hillside and we saw deer and many woodland residents. Host is very responsive. Very pleased with our accommodations.
