Viehättävä ja viihtyisä, Trail’s End on ainutlaatuisella paikalla Galena-alueen yhdellä kauneimmista kulmista. Se on täydellinen paikka hiljaisesti pohtia tai juhlia mitä tahansa tilaisuutta perheen tai ystävien kanssa. Nauti metsäinen näkymä takakannelta nauttien lasillisella viiniä. Villieläimet ovat runsaasti! Jokaisesta näkökulmasta voit nähdä usein hirviä, jotka kulkevat tai villi kalkkuna pysähtyvät välipalaksi. Monen tyyppisiä värikkäitä lintuja on mahdotonta hukata puissa ja ne ruokailevat syöttölaitteesta!

Viihtyisässä kodissamme on 3 makuuhuonetta ja 3 täyttä kylpyammetta, joista jokainen sijaitsee erillisessä kerroksessa täydellisesti illan yksityisyyttä varten. Pääkerroksessa on makuuhuone (queen-vuode) ja kylpy, mukava kokoontumisalue (queen-size-vaihtovuode) kutsuvalla kivitakalla, auringonhuoneella sekä keittiön ja ruokailutilan kanssa. Suuri ulkoterassi on täydellinen paikka alkaa rentoutua ja aloittaa vierailusi. Yläkerrassa on oma makuuhuone (queen-vuode) ja kylpyamme. Alemmalla tasolla isännöi kolmas makuuhuone (parisänky) ja kylpy sekä sääntely biljardipöytä, satelliitti-TV, stereot ja sisäänkäynti turvatarkastus-kuistilla ja kylpytynnyrillä. Mikä olisi parempi tapa rauhoittaa itseäsi pitkän aktiviteettipäivän tai nähtävyyksien jälkeen ?!

Jos etsit urheilua, sinun ei tarvitse mennä kovin pitkälle! Galena-alue tarjoaa parasta golfvaltiota, jos Illinois! Pikemminkin kalastaa? Ei hätää, Galena-järvi on vain lyhyen ajomatkan päässä alueen upeista maisemista. Voit vuokrata veneen ja kelata ne muutamassa minuutissa! Jos pidät retkeilystä, ratsastusta, uintia, tennistä, lentopalloa, koripalloa, ilmapalloilua, tähtien katsomista tai mitä tahansa muuta mielenkiintoista toimintaa, sinun ei tarvitse mennä kovin pitkälle!

Historiallisessa kaupungissa Galena on entistä enemmän golfia, laskettelua ja lumilautailua, ratsastusta ratsastusta, historiallisia matkoja ja moponmatkoja, viiniä ja ruokailua, vanhentamista ja putiikkeja, kylpyläkokemuksia, kiertoajeluautoja, museoita ja luettelo jatkuu.

2nd Time is a Charm
This is the 2nd year in a row we stayed at this charming cottage. Ginger is so accommodating as always. This time, we had an issue with the washing machine not working in the a.m. By 11:30, Ginger had the repair guy show up and he fixed it! With the hot tub, pool, and many showers to be had, we needed the washing machine and she made sure it happened! The house is so comfortable and clean. So close to town and things to do in the area. My kids (and their friends) and I love it there!

Perfect getaway!

Wow -- Wish we could've stayed longer
To say nothing of the beautifully appointed and decorated home, our Host thought of everything. We were in Galena for a wedding and brought the grooms elderly grandparents who took the first floor bedroom outfitted with a queen-sized bed, my husband and I took the lower level with the oh-so-comfortable king and our daughter and SIL took the upstairs queen. The decks and grounds are lovely and really worked to re-energize our souls. Whole-heartedly thrilled with our accommodations. We couldn't have asked for more -- thank you, Ginger!

Awesome property
We loved everything about the property. It was very clean with everything provided that we could possibly need. The location was secluded but close enough to the resort, restaurants and the owners club (which we could access with the provided access cards). We loved sitting on the back porch. We loved the whirlpool which we used to wind down at the end of every night. We are looking forward to renting the property again in the future.

Our Return to Galena
We haven't been to Galena since 2019 and we were eager to visit a wonderful area of Illinois. We weren't disappointed with our visit starting off with Ginger's wonderful, secluded home. The property was as described and worthy of the 200+ ten-star reviews. Having 3 bedrooms, each with their separate bathrooms was perfect for the 3 couples that comprised our party. Firepit, BBQ grill and all the appliances were in working condition and enjoyed by all! Didn't have the opportunity to use the hot tub (next time!) . We encountered a slight issue with the check-in process (couldn't find the door entry code within the check-in email from VRBO). Nevertheless, we were able to contact the owner (Ginger) and she was able to help us gain entry. When we stay in Galena again- we'll certainly stay at Ginger's home. Thank you, Ginger for sharing your abode.

Perfect Weekend
We had a perfect weekend for three friends from grade school to reconnect. The weather was perfect and the house was perfect. There were three bedrooms on three different floors, a deck to view nature, and a large kitchen table to eat, play games and laugh. The host was wonderful and sent suggestions ahead of time. Their home was well stocked and very comfortable. We had a picnic at Galena vineyards, shopped main street, ate at Galena brewery and did the Goat trek! We would love to come back with our spouses.

Family getaway
We spent a few nights in Galena to kick off our spring break and this cabin was the perfect fit for our family. We were so relaxed in the wooded surroundings and hope to return one day when the weather would allow us to enjoy the incredible deck! My teens loved the hot tub and we all played pool together in the evenings. It’s a spacious home that has been carefully tended to by its owners. We had an easy check-in and the owner was very responsive when needed. It’s a short drive to area attractions and it takes a bit to get used to the winding roads of the Galena Territory. All in all it was a wonderful trip and we would highly recommend this property.

Great family weekend
This was our second time staying at Trails End and our stay was as wonderful as the first time. The house is beautiful, comfortable and clean. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub and bird watching. Conveniently located near Galena. Ginger is a great host. She is so helpful and welcoming. We definitely recommend Trails End when visiting the Galena area. Cannot wait for our next getaway!

We enjoyed our stay. The amenities were great from the pool table to the hot tub, and the house is decorated in a very pleasing rustic style. The are comfortable and there’s plenty of room. Also, you’re far enough away from town to feel isolated but close enough to enjoy everything Galena has to offer. Overall, a very nice accommodation. We would definitely go back.
