You have found the quintessential Montana log cabin to serve as your adventure base of operations. Tom’s Cabin is 2850 sq feet of centrally located relaxation. Minutes away from world class fly-fishing, skiing, hiking and mountain biking, and with Yellowstone National Park only 45 scenic miles away, it is the perfect retreat for families or groups who appreciate and value the outdoors. The cabin’s open and spacious main floor is designed around a central rock fireplace rising into the soaring vaulted ceiling. Log beams span the room framing massive end windows which bring the outdoors inside. A large open loft looks down on the main floor and combines with the comfortable furnishings to create the perfect unified space for reliving the day and planning your next adventures in this outdoor wonderland. The main floor opens onto the spacious deck. The covered outdoor eating area allows meals, prepared on the newly updated appliances, to be enjoyed inside or out. Able to comfortably sleep 10, the cabin features bedrooms on all three levels in configurations ranging from the 4 beds in the loft to private bedrooms on the main and entry floors. Two air mattresses can be provided for up to an additional four guests (total of 14). Tom’s Cabin awaits to be your home as you explore the beauty of Big Sky and beyond.

We had an issue when we arrive - the welcome book was not found, so we didnt have WiFi and the two promised extra beds were not there or set up in the loft as promised. I had to drive away till i got cell service and contacted vrbo, and they very quickly took care of both of those issues.We loved the cabin, and it was perfect for our party of 13 to relax and unwind after having a super busy couple of days prior to getting to the cabin.The beds were comfy, the house was clean, the washer and dryer were very nice and the bathrooms were spacious.I would suggest replacing the shower heads for nicer ones though, and the fry pans in the kitchen were in poor condition.

Perfect Montana Cabin

Tom's cabin was great for our group, we enjoyed the fireplace and sauna on a nightly basis. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked for making meals t serve a large group. We thought this would be further from the mountain but it couldn't have been easier. Note, the road is quite difficult to get up in the winter and 4x4 is absolutely necessary.

Great for Work Retreat

We stayed at the cabin for a work event happening in Big Sky. It was the perfect situation for our large team of solo adults - everyone had their own space and the shared spaces were spacious and accommodating to our group's needs. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great stay at Tom’s Cabin

We are a retired couple in our 60’s and enjoyed our stay. This place was just what we were looking for. We have no major complaints and will hopefully return again in the near future.

Big Sky stay

House was beautiful. Location had a highway right below it so no big animals to be seen. Was a smell in the house that we smelled all week. A few air fresheners would have helped but wasnt unbearable. Overall our stay was great and everything was easy to get to for the most part!

Just passing through

I stayed here with my wife, our daughter, and both sets of grandparents (all in their 80s). We were passing through on our way from Bozeman to Jackson and only stayed one night. The cabin was a little difficult to find, and in need of some maintenance. In particular, the railing up the steps outside the front door is very loose and is a bit of a safety issue for anyone who would rely on it for balance. The front door sticks and is difficult to open and close. These would seem to be fairly easy things to fix. Otherwise, the inside was what I would expect for an aged cabin in the mountains. Overall, it was fine for a quick overnight stay.

Great cabin

Tough one to review. Really cool cabin but you can just tell the difference between an owner run and a property manager run rental. There were two pillows with blood on them, all four air mattresses were leaking and made it seem like you were sleeping in a canoe. BBQ grill was leaking propane, the deck is failing with a few boards rotted out. That being said, the PM was very quick to get back on all this stuff, got two different air mattresses (on still leaked) and a new BBQ. Overall great cabin, just not well taken care of.

We enjoyed the area. Easy access to many areas. Many light bulbs inside cabin burnt out, not enough bath towels, hand towel, wash cloths, very litle toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags.

The whole stay was so so awesome. The only thing is the dumpster is a little bit confusing!!! it says it’ll have an address on there, but I couldn’t find the address and none of the locks unlocked with the passcode!!! so we did have to take our garbage to town but 10 out of 10 amazing!

Great stay for a friend trip!

Tom's Cabin was a great place to stay for big groups! We did a friend ski trip to Big Sky and this was the perfect place. It had a lot of beds, a great cooking space, and a sauna we used every night after skiing. We were able to take multiple cars and park around the house. We all had 4-wheel drive with winter tires, which was needed to get around Big Sky in the winter. Jenna was great at responding to all of our questions and responded really quickly. Jenna also gave us awesome detailed information on the cabin and Big Sky in general! If we plan to do another friend trip to Big Sky we will definitely be staying at Tom's Cabin again!

Our Stay at the Cabin

Location was very good for our skiing at Big Sky. The cabin was very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We ate in five of the seven nights we were there. We were disappointed with the outdoor gas grill. It was very dirty and not useable. Our thanks to the property Rep. Jenna. The access road was very icy one morning and Jenna took care of the problem immediately. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you. Tom

Shoet 1 night stay

We only needed a place to stay the night after backpacking and before flying out the next morning. Great cabin with good rustic feel. Slept 8 of us comfortably.

Great cabin with lots of privacy

We had a wonderful stay at Tom's Cabin! The place was super clean, warm and perfectly reflected the photos on the listing. There was plenty of space for our group of 6 with several extra beds. The huge fireplace in the middle of the house definitely kept us warm. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped and there were plenty of games to keep us entertained. This cabin is very secluded and was about a 10 min drive from any restaurants or shops so having a car is recommended.
