”This property is a stunning gem away from the heat and bustle of Galle Fort. A beautiful pool and a sea breeze is definite respite during the day A 5 minute tuk tuk ride will take you to the Fort. The rooms are large. The beds very comfy. The shower was perfect. All decorated simply and in keeping with the building 150 year age. Then there is Mohan who appears like magic when you need something. He is kind and friendly, the perfect host..if he offers to make you a traditional lunch or dinner...

”Nice place for the money, but the children were home and started talking early in the morning, you can hear them, so it is not big on privacy or late sleep (after 6am). Walkable to the turtle sanctuary. ”

”Majatalo on hyvällä paikalla Gallen historiallisella alueella (joka on turistien suosiossa) kahden vanhan rakennuksen yläkerrassa. Tilat eivät luonnollisesti hohtaneet uutuuttaan, mutta niissä oli vanhan ajan idylliä. Huone oli rauhallinen ja sain nukuttua hyvin. Palvelu oli tosi ystävällistä. Lisämaksullinen aamiainen oli hintansa arvoinen.”

”Das Hotel ist sehr nett angelegt und hat uns vor allem aufgrund seiner wenigen Zimmer und dsdurch Persönlichkeit überzeugt. Die Zimmer sind groß und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker.”

”Vi har boet på Lady Hill i 2024 og nu igen i 2025. Her er virkelig dejligt. Hotellet har den smukkeste udsigt. Det ligger i gåafstand til Galle Fort, hvor der er altid er meget trafik og mange mennesker. Det er dog ikke noget man mærker til på hotellet, som ligger tilbagetrukket på bakken. Her kan man virkelig nyde roen og stilheden. Stedet er meget rent, og alt personale er søde, imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Maden er også rigtig god. Vi er især glade for at morgenmaden vælges ud fra en menu,...

”Beautiful place and very friendly and professional people. Nice welcome with cold towel and Mango-juice. The room was clean and with aircondition. I can recommend this place!”

”It's a well-located about 10 minutes walk from Galle Fort and less than 5 minutes walk from the railway station. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with good air-con and a fridge. The breakfast is good and the staff are helpful. The pool is also nice. The only downside is that the wi-fi was strong some of the time, but very patchy and slow at other times. Apart from this issue, it's a great place to stay.”
