Bright, cheerful, and modern in all the best ways, this three-bedroom, dog-friendly home will place you less than half a mile from the open beach and the Gulf of Mexico on the west end of Galveston Island.

This home is a beach-goer's delight, offering a covered, ground-floor patio that will greet your return each day with an outdoor shower, a hammock, a gas grill, and a cushioned outdoor sofa. The upstairs deck is blissfully shaded as well, with ample seating for lounging in the afternoons and dining in the evenings.

The air-conditioned interior has been decorated in soft coastal tones, offering an open living space with two sofas and a 52-inch flatscreen TV with streaming capability. The adjoining kitchen features stainless steel appliances (including a French-door refrigerator), and there's space to dine at both the breakfast bar and the circular table. Additional amenities include high-speed WiFi, a washer/dryer for all of your laundry needs, and three bedrooms - one of which is a primary suite with deck access, a 50-inch TV, and a private bathroom.

The elevator and the garage are not available for guest use.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great location near beach!

We enjoyed how close this property is to the beach and how much room the house had. There were some upkeep issues as well as lack of communication from host when we reached out. Overall, we had a great trip, just wish that the house was better taken care of and that we when we communicated with the host, someone would have helped us out.

MOLD, DIRTY, MOLD in the Fridge, Stained Couches, No Internet, No Cable, Terrible Customer Service!!

18611 Warrior Dr., Galveston, TX. The internet and cable never worked the entire time we were there. I attempted to communicate with Vacasa via text message but it was difficult with no internet, which never got resolved. When we first got there we found that certain areas of the home did not have power, but we were able to reset the three breakers in the electrical box. A major issue was the mold in the refrigerator that I had to clean up myself. The couches were stained and also appeared to have mold on them as well. We used the dishwasher and we discovered that water leaked out of the garbage disposal onto the wood, which left an foul moldy smell. We cleaned it up the best we could, but the smell was still lingering. My boys were getting sick and I got a headache. It was at that point we decided we couldn’t stay another night. If my son didn’t go out with his friend from Houston we would have left sooner. I was even supposed to drop my brother off at the airport and come back to the rental. Instead we packed up and drove almost 4 hours in the heavy rain from Galveston to the IAH airport and then to Round Rock to stay at my sister and parents house. It’s a nice looking house but it should be cleaned and checked more often. Especially after a storm. The couches need to be tossed out asap and the garbage disposal replaced. No one should have to be subjected to those kinds of conditions. I contacted Vacasa and VRBO with zero results.

Future Renters Beware

Where do I begin? Upon check in we noticed the property is invested with mosquitoes. We instantly knew we wouldn’t be able to be outside. The lawn is extremely overgrown and so overgrown our little dog couldn’t even use the restroom. Once upstairs to check in the home smelled like smoke. Not sure if previous renters were smokers or the cleaning crew is a smoker. I informed Vacasa, they told me to open the windows. Well it’s too hot outside to do that. Vacasa offered no additional help. We immediately noticed the ac wasn’t able to catch up to what the thermostat was sat on. This home needs some serious maintenance on the ac if not a new unit. Monday night we all baked, seriously it got to 79 degrees in the home night 1. Day 2 I informed Vacasa. They sent out a general contractor to fix a wobbly fan but he stated “I can’t touch the ac, I will tell them to send a tech” That never happened. We had to go out and buy a portable ac unit and two fans. Everyday I informed Vacasa about the ac. Again never sent anyone out, just didn’t care. They offered us compensation but the local manager won’t sign it off. Ridiculous! 6 days 5 nights of an ac not working then we had 8 people, 4 adults, 2 teenagers, 2 small kids. They give 2 trash bags, 1 roll paper towels, and 4 rolls of toilet paper. Once gone you, as the renter are responsible to replenish. As much as I’ve stayed in VRBO’s I’ve never had to replenish at my expense. It’s a nice property but Vacasa ruined it for us. Never again.

We loved our stay at this house! It was in a quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from the beach. The house was clean and just like the pictures. We loved all of the space. We would stay here again!

Family holiday

Had a wonderful stay with my family for a late Christmas. House was great and had everything we needed. Bunk room was awesome for the kids. Location was perfect, a little out of Galveston main area but still very close to everything we wanted to do. Highly recommend.

Just what we needed

We landed here after our original booking was a bust. The pics are accurate and the space was great for our family of 4. The kitchen was well appointed and the appliances were new and easy to operate. The sofas and beds were comfy and front porch was very peaceful. Just be sure to bring your bug spray!

Perfectly Located

This property is in a quiet location but close enough to go into Galveston for dinner. The house definitely has a smoke smell and a few things need a little extra cleaning. Beds were comfortable and kitchen has most everything we needed.

Cute Galveston house

We had a great stay here for 4 days. Love the location, away from traffic and crowds but super easy to get to the beach. Our only issues had to do with some housekeeping neglect. The large outside trash can was full of trash when we arrived. The management company had someone empty it for us. The dishwasher had standing water in the bottom so we hand washed the whole time. Not huge deals. Would definitely come back!

Beautiful Home

We stayed for the weekend. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. There was a slight smell of cigarette smoke, but it was faint and didn’t bother us. The outside shower was useful. We enjoyed our stay. We would return if the property were available in the future.
