Stylish Downtown Loft, Walk to The Strand

Welcome to Market Street Loft B, a studio-style retreat blending old time charm and modern renovations. With a queen size bed and full sleeper sofa, fully stocked kitchen, high lofted ceilings and a beautifully updated bathroom, the space is an ideal set up for couples. Restaurants, bars and shops are a quick walk away. Whether you’re looking to spend time on The Strand, the beach, or a quick overnight before a cruise departure, this loft is the perfect home base for your trip.

Location: Historic Downtown area of Galveston, Texas, half mile from the cruise ship terminal.

This is a historic building with early 20th century building materials and single-pane windows. Noise may be present.

Beach Access: Less than a 5 minute drive to the beaches at the Seawall.

WINTER TEXAN RATE: If you’re trying to escape to the Gulf Coast for the winter. Please ask us about our reduced monthly rates October 1 - March 1.

Rent BeachBox: Looking for beach gear for your Galveston getaway? We have you covered! Beach chairs and tents can be ready at the loft upon your arrival. Message us for details and rates.

Pest Control: Due to the coastal environment, mosquitoes & seasonal pests may be present. Professional pest control treatments are performed monthly.

WIFI: Free high-speed WIFI is available throughout the home.

Cable: We provide Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own Amazon Prime, Netflix, or other streaming service apps as well.

Pet Policy: One pet is welcome in our home with a $25 fee per pet. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren't left alone inside the home unless in a crate or kennel. Please message us if you’re planning on bringing your furry friend!

Parking: Free and paid street parking options on the streets surrounding the building.

Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee.

Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book.

The living area is perfect for lounging or catching up on your favorite shows, with a comfortable sofa and a Smart TV. The dining area is ideal for enjoying meals together, while the well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare delicious dishes. And don't forget about the convenience of having a washer and dryer right in your loft, so you can pack light and keep your clothes fresh during your stay.

Market Street Loft B is located right in the middle of the action, just steps from The Strand with its charming shops, restaurants, and vibrant nightlife. The Cruise Terminal is also within walking distance, making this loft a great option for a pre- or post-cruise stay. And if you're longing for some sun and sand, the beach is just a short drive away.

House Rules:
- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 12 need to be approved. We do not allow parties.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.
