Escape to our newly built 4 BR/3.5BA house and is just a short walk to the beach. Enjoy sitting on the deck while enjoying the views of the bay and the gulf. Pointe West has a lot of amenities to offer including the beach club pool and the heated sunset pool with a lazy river and hot tub. They are both open 365 days a year and boast beautiful views of the ocean and the bay.

The space

We use our house personally and want to make our home yours while you visit. We have all of the items you will need to cook a nice meal and entertain including spices and basic cooking ingredients. We have a charcoal grill, smart tv and table on the ground floor. Basic cable is in the living room and game room with an additional three smart televisions. We have plenty of games, toys, beach cart, beach towels, beach chairs and beach canopy. We have a pack’n’play and portable highchair.

We are also able to recommend where to rent golf carts, kayaks, and bikes as well as restaurants in close proximity to our house. We have a house manager who lives on the island.

If you happen to be up for a fun filled day trip then downtown Galveston is only thirty minutes away. Galveston offers an endless array of attractions including Moody Gardens and the Pleasure Pier. For the adults in the group the Strand Historic District offers plenty of night life and entertainment.

A boat launch is available across the bridge at the San Luis Pass County Park. Use is free and it is available 24/7. The launch is only ten minutes away. A $2 toll is required to cross bridge.

Guests who wish to use the Pointe West amenities must register with the Beach Club PRIOR TO ARRIVAL and pay a resort fee of $25 per guest over the age of 5. Upon arrival at the Beach Club, wrist bands and a gate code will be provided which provide access for the duration of your stay. The Sunset Pool will be heated as of March 2021. The Beach Club swimming pool is not heated and may be too cold to use during the fall and winter months depending on the weather. Due to circumstances out of our control pools may not be always available. We are not responsible if they are not available during your stay, but we will do our best to communicate if the pool is closed during your stay. A fee of $25 will be charged to replace a lost wrist band. Vehicle traffic is prohibited on this part of the beach.
