”The staff was absolutely wonderful. Makala went above and beyond to assist me as needed. The room was clean and peaceful, and I enjoyed the fitness room. The breakfast was also delicious! No cons for this hotel and their staff. Thank you Makala!”

”My room was changed from what I had reserved without my knowledge because they overbooked. The shower wouldn’t shut off all the way, so dropped all night. Digital check-in didn’t work, digital checkout didn’t work, got notification a day late that my room was ready.”

”We visited on March 13, 2026. We were driving through from Ottawa to Myrtle beach so our stay was short, 10pm until 5:30am. The blankets are very thin, I froze all night. The hvac system is very loud, kept me up most of the night. The bathroom had a bug in it and wasn’t super clean. The front desk told me there was a gym on the 2nd floor but walked the entire floor and no gym was found. Not the best ”

”If you arrive late, be aware you'll need to ring the bell and wait for someone to let you in. Key cards are required for entry to the building even through the front lobby. We waited several minutes for someone to arrive.”

”Beautiful, old hotel with interesting history. Comfortable, quiet room, bed and pillows. Walk to everything downtown. The only issue we had was that our toilet was clogged and so we had a plumber in our room for about 45 minutes, soon after dinner. But service came soon after I called. Also they didn’t have our room ready until 4:30 pm - checkin is supposed to be at 4 which is late by normal standards already. Otherwise, great hotel! ”

”you ripped me off where is the continental breakfast I made a reservation with expedia and the description and the service is terrible > I arrive at 4 pm there is no none I waited for 30 minutes > The responsible is these terrible company manages these hotels, but not the lady who was there with her dog. She was nice, even though I waited at reception for 30 minutes. The next day, there was no breakfast, just a dirty coffee pot. ”

”I visit Frederick often for business and decided to splurge for a "nicer" hotel than what I usually pick. Overall, I was surprised with how shabby this property was compared with what I'm used to, especially the lack of amenities and the much higher price point. While room was clean, furniture was all mismatched and looked like it came from a thrift store. Everything sort of worked, at least. I have stayed in about a dozen different hotels around Frederick for the past year and this is by far...

”Good Breakfast ”

”Sleep with mice everywhere. First night heard them crawling all night. Second night felt one actually crawling on me while I was asleep, flung it across the room and slept the rest of the night in my truck. Next morning I checked out snd ask for a refund for the remaining nights I wasn’t going to be stayibg there. They gave me a bit of a runaround and just hoping I get my refund. 1 community microwave in the lobby that everyone uses. ”

”We stayed for one night. Had not eaten and were to tired to go out. We ate at their bar and found it to be excellent. The food, people and drinks were very good. The bed was very comfortable.”
