”The place is more than beautiful!! The surroundings, the nature, the views are extraordinary. The friendliness of the host Katya and the persons in charge of the restaurant make such a good difference, we were very well treated.

”Such a wonderful slice of heaven. Definitely visit this property. The staff were fantastic & so helpful. A bottle of sparkling wine at the pool was €18 and absolutely delicious. The breakfast omelette was delightful, the dinner was delicious. The pool was sensational, such a lovely place to be. Book it! We had a vineyard suite, the Manor House ones seemed further away. ”

”Amazing views, right above the gorgeous Duoro River. Fabulous staff, breakfast delivered to room each morning. Location is a bit remote, requiring driving crazy mountain roads to get anywhere….but worth it!”
”We had a nice one night stay at the hotel during our trip to the Douro Valley.
Our room was clean and spacious. Not brand new but not too dated either. Service was excellent. Good breakfast. Small gym with focus on cardio machines. Magnificient views from the rooms as well as the hotel terrace/bar area!
There are not many options for lunch and dinner other than the hotel restaurant, as it's a tiny village. The restaurant is ok but nothing special.”
