Wavecrest Holiday Cottage is set in a stunning beach side location a short walk from Garryvoe Beach in County Cork. Garryvoe is a popular holiday destination for swimming and long coastal walks.

Take a walk along Ballycotton's magnificent cliff path located just 8km from Wavecrest Holiday Cottage. This cliff walk offers breath-taking views of the Atlantic Ocean and Ballycotton Island.

Important Note Due to the close proximity to the main road, this holiday home is not suitable for young children under the age of 13 years. Therefore we unfortunately are unable to accept bookings with children under the age of 13 years.

Cork City is a 40-minute drive away, where you can visit the famed English Market, Cork Public Museum & Fitzgerald's Park, Elizabeth Fort, Barrack Street, and Collins Barracks Cork Military Museum, among other things. The open plan kitchen, living and dining area is fully equipped providing everything you will need for a comfortable self-catering holiday in Ireland.

The main bathroom has a separate shower, hand basin and WC.

There is a large lawned garden to the front of this pretty cottage which takes advantage of the spectacular views of the ocean and Ballycotton Lighthouse in the distance. During the summer, you and your guests can dine alfresco on the wooden decking in front of Wavecrest Holiday Cottage and enjoy the fresh sea air. Local Area – Garryvoe Garryvoe is located on the outskirts of Ballycotton Bay. The village is home to the famed Garryvoe Hotel and Leisure Club, as well as a shop and a beautiful sandy beach. Both Shanagarry and Ladysbridge villages, which include shops, pubs, and service stations, are a short drive away. The pretty fishing village of Ballycotton is only 7km away. Things to See and Do in Cork East Cork has a rich historical and maritime legacy with a huge range of activities and attractions to keep everyone happy. For days out with the kids visit Trabolgan, Fota Wildlife Park and Leahy’s Pet Farm. For the more adventurous, try off road treks with Bridgefield buggies or some deep-sea angling. Middleton’s Farmers Market is a great place to stock up with local produce on a Saturday. Visit the colourful town of Cobh, which has one of the deepest harbours in the world, such to offer a lovely day out.
